1. i cant stand having people like this in our military or even on the planet
2. i think the pit bull in the 2nd one is actually well bred, just not what people are use to seeing(cause people arent use to seeing well bred pit bulls..) about am staffs and apbt's..they are the same breed, i'm sorry but nobody can deny that, no other breed was thrown in to create the Am Staff therefore it can't be a seperate breed. same breed, just bred differently for different purposes. just like a Irish Setter..you have your Show Irish setters and your working irish setters..same breed but look nothing alike. same with labs, english springer spaniels, and alot of other working type breds :D
3. any dog/breed can have a black spotted tongue..having a full black tongue is usually a sign of chow or shar-pei mix..
4. City Backs Off Pit Bulls Mar, 10 2005 - 12:00 AM HAMILTON (AM900 CHML) - Hamilton will not be putting stray pit bulls to death starting on Monday. City council has decided not to target any specific breed of dog for euthanization, at least until the province's controversial pit bull ban takes effect in August. Councillor Tom Jackson says it means animal control is again working at status-quo and he also admits perceptions that Hamilton would start putting pit bulls to death has left an "awful perception". The city's director of licensing however, insists that was a "misconception". Tom Redmond says protocol has always stated that all strays are held for 72-hours before being euthanized, unless claimed by their owner, the S-P-C-A, or sent to the Stoney Creek Animal Shelter. Redmond adds all that was ever planned for Monday was to stop sending pit bulls to Stoney Creek, because space is at a premium and pit bulls have less likelihood of adoption than other breeds.

6. I dont reckon the guy will be back for the dog! that's sad but i'm hoping he doesnt come back, the neo would be better of in rescue
7. i'm pretty sure they are the same breed, just different name(the official name is parson russel..) there are 2 different types of JRT's/PRT's..the short stocky ones and the longer lenier type.

12. She wasnt a foster  my dad is a just a jerk and is making me rehome 3 of my dogs. My sister is looking for a house though and looking for ones with fenced in yard that allows dogs, if she can get one, she is taking ozzy and barkley
13. Sheeba just got adopted... I'm sad and happy. They are friends of my parents, a couple in their 40's or 50's, just bought a new home, the wife doesnt work, stays at home all day, the husband is a roofer and makes good money, can't have children, so they've been looking for a medium sized, adult, artic type dog, they didnt want a puppy cause they dont want to deal with the chewing and housebreaking and what not.... She told my dad that she would know wether she wanted her or not as soon as she saw her..and as soon as she saw her her first words were "omg she's beautiful!" Sheeba really liked her too. She will be an inside dog, the lady will be taking her on lots of walks and jogging and what not(she wanted a jogging partner) I think it's a perfect match, sheeba is a mellow dog and good on a leash, loves to take walks and jog and what not, but real good and mellow in the house. The lady wanted a dog to keep her company during the day too, so that's what she got. They only live a hop skip and a jump away, so I can keep an eye on her, I gave them all of sheeba's info, vet info, and told them what food she is eating and they are going to keep her on that and I told them if they ever have any problems or cant keep her to contact me and I will take her back if need be(my dad agreed on that) So while I am very heartbroken and have shed lots of tears, i am glad my sweet baby girl got a good home with people that will love her

15. When I worked at a vet office a woman brought in her cockapoo...and when the vet asked what breed she said cockapoo..the vet was like ok poodle mix..she was like NO cockapoo... the vet was like Ok then poodle mix it is
16. My dogs were fed Ol Roy when I was a kid. They were very active dogs, good coats, and they never saw a vet. But when we switched maggie to a good food, the difference was amazing. A dog of course can do well on a crappy dog food, but when you switch to a premium food, as long as the dog agrees with the food(some foods just dont go well with some dogs) the change is ultimately amazing.
17. http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-leg24.html I COULD KISS THE LEGISLATORS WHO DIDNT LET THIS BILL PASS I didnt think it would pass, but seeing this REALLY took alot of stress off of me!!
18. it's actually one of the things they were originally bred to do.. except the people back then would put the dog in a pit with a bunch of rats and see how many they could kill :-?
19. I went into a pet store a few weeks ago. I also held a very cute bullmastiff puppy. I hugged him and kissed him and talked to him, told him i was sorry he had to be here and that i would do my best to get such places shut down. i then handed him back to the person and walked out. I wanted to take him home, yes, but i knew that that would only keep the puppymills in business
