i must admit i never knew ALL that about peta...So i must say i didnt look into them as much as i should have.. i didnt come on this site to start a war.. I just feel every animal deserves a chance at life..and believe it or not i do not agree with puppymills.. yes i bought my dog from a pet store , but i did what i felt i had to do...yes i understand everyones point, i even agree with it to an extent.....but i still stand firm on those puppies were born and deserve a home....000

think maybe its time for alittle love in your life..try yoga it gets rid of negative energy..

yea im a nut case...thats why i run a daycare and take care of peoples kids all day......you were complaining about mixed breeds.....soo i brought up the akc....you said lets put all pet store pups to sleep..that is just awful....why not rescue them too...i think your the nut case....death is never the answer.

hi horsefeathers... i feel rescue is a wonderful and i do understand the expense..i got my mastiff through mcoa rescue... i was just trying to make a point that some rescues arent legit either..i feel rescue is the way to go as a rescued both my pug and mastiff....and though i hate prt stores i did "rescue my english bulldog and ori pei from the same one....they were not the 2 cute little puppies but rather the 2 large puppies whos time was running out...thank you for understanding my point of view as far as me "rescuing them.... :D

yu must hae alot of time on your hand to talk to MILLIONS of people....explains why your such an angry person...

well good for me..i never said it's ok to breed for profit....but to kill all the dogs because of it is wrong.... my point again that its not just the designer dogs that are bred for profit...it's most pure bred dogs...

i also am active in mastiff rescue... i just feel no dog deserves to die.. no matter what... my point is ..that as long as people breed dogs for profit..there will be puppymills...and people will purchase them...including :purebreds" ....soo why not try to ban the sale of all dogs..and not just get upset about designer dogs....

well maybe you should let people know you think all puppies in pet stores should be put to sleep...that should boost your sales/// if the akc is soo great why are their dogs sold in pet stores too?

oh trust me a know alot... all im saying is what makes your dogs healthier than these dogs and more deserving of life??? i did adopt my mastiff and pug through rescue... and i have read up on puppy mills and am an active member of peta...but dogs in the puppy stores also deserve to live...like i said in my previous post..i dont support pet stores....and for you to say those pups should be put to sleep is just wrong..i bet you have no kids of your own cuz your sure lacking that maternal instinct!

your response has me soo mad..you call yourself an animal lover..maybe ..your just a rescuer who enjoys making money off your rescues..just like there are puppymills there are also rescues who over charge for dogs.....give them away for free..you know the costs of doing rescue arent all that high...all dogs desever a chance at life..they didnt ask to be born...and and ori pei is a wonder ful breed...maybe meet one first and then talk about it...i probably know more about dogs than you do!

I too have an ori pei.. and they are great dogs..and just so you know akc dogs are sold at pet stores too! If people are breeding dogs ..any dogs..they have a right to go to a loving home..and if someone is willing to pay a high pric efor them i feel they will take better care of the dog then someone that just has to pay a shelter fee...lets think of all the pit bulls who get adopted by shelter s only to end up in a dog fighting ring!

Hi, i have an ori pei, plus 3 pure bred dogs.. The ori pei is a great breed. I have no problems with mine.. he is just the best,,soo good luck to you and if thats the breed you want go get one, you wont be disappointed!

O.k. then what do you want to see happen to these dogs in pet stores? if people dont buy them they get sent back to be breeders to be bred or worse yet get put to sleep.. soo as you can see i did rescue 2 of my dogs at a verey large price......if it were up to me i would shut down all puppy stores, but they do exist and these pups deserve a chance at having a wonderful life!
