My previous Pom, Polo was a pretty hyper puppers all around.. What you can do is try and distract him, give him treats, or play with stuffed toys with him..anything you think will try and distract him. He will grow out of it eventually! :wink:

The raw diet Recipe sounds good! I'm keeping a sort of journal on the computer where I list certain dog probs, and the cure, for future refrence. When you remember Ben, try not to think of it as "haunting" think of it as reminiscing. Think of all the good times you shared, and try not blame yourself for anything that happened to him, it was fate and it had to happen. Instead of grieving when thinking of him Rejoice, and think of how special he was... :)

Welcome to Dog-O-Mania notchris! Well about the third dog, a trial period is Definitely ideal. That way you and your wife can see how he acts around the other dogs, how he behaves at mealtimes ...etc. And just how he is really! You should think how a third dog would affect you and your wife and you other two dogs, not just financially but physically, is this dog going to tire you out, or take away your personal time? Take time to think about it with your wife, and let us know what happens! :wink:

-The Neighbours! Well actually Polo used to gather the neighbours' kid's footwear and rip em to pieces... For a while we had Kiddie display of shoes in our garden! -And another certain Crazy neighbour claimed that polo was killing his birds.. :roll: -Then you have those who say he bit their 16-year-old son, and that the son had to have a shot! (now that is just babble because although he was a playful Pom he NEVER bit a single soul, and even if he had, He's had his shots so the bite wouldn't be harmful) And even when we tied him up in this puny space, the neighbours kids came and actually PROVOKED him! They'd be like Nah-Nah-Nah-boo boo! Then the neighbours deny that their kids have even left the house! I swear I wanted to sue!~ Ah well he's with another loving family and we've visited once or twice so... That's why if I get a dog I want him to be a puppy, so I can train him PROPERLY!

I'm going to Cairo, and Alexandria to visit some relatives that live there, K! :D
