Ok well the kids have been home for nearly 2 hours now so we'll see how long it takes for them to notice shall we. Every time they beg me for a new pet they always swear that they'll look after it and when I say 'you didn't look after the last one' they'll swear blind that they did. So we'll see......................

Hi Bronxie My Ellie was a picky eater when she waslittle and even now she doesn't eat much but she will finish her meals now . Do you leave her food down all day ? I found that taking it away after 20 minutes or so each meal worked for us,she soon learned that her food was not on tap and if she didn't eat it there and then she wouldn't be able to pick later. Also remember she won't starve herself her instincts won't let her.

Yes Rio too :( It's a shame isn't it :( They are gradually turning a deeper and deeper amber now though they are lovely.

Well where do I start..... Rio is a naughty big puppy and likes to eat the sofa in the lounge where we leave them when we are out so...............we swapped the furniture round so now that room is the dining room so nothing for Rio to eat right......WRONG :-? This post brings back memories for me !!! When Ellie was just 8 weeks old we went round to the inlaws for a BBQ and Ellie had a mad five minutes and whacked into a tree,blimey anyone would have thought there was a banshee in great pain in the garden !!!!! I picked her up and calmed her down and she seemed to be ok so I put her down but as she put the weight on one of her legs she started screaming again I couldn't bear it so we rushed her down to the vets it was out of hours of course :roll: and a bank holiday :roll: the vet checked her over and she was starting to put weight on her paw without squealing so she just gave her a painkilling jab and said see how you go. Well when we got back to the house I put her down gently and no sooner had I put her down she was running around like a mad thing again !! Honestly though when she did it she cried terribly it was horrible ! I would say that Rufus was just screaming as puppies do ! Was the blood in his wee or was it separate ? If it was from his wee (I would check next time he goes) then I would take him to the vet but if you think it was just from a little knock then I would keep my eye on him but try not to worry I'm sure he will be fine. :wink:

Ellie and Rio love their balls on a rope when we are out on a walk,but when left home alone Rio loves to eat the 3 piece suite :evil:
