ObedienceGrrl
It's on the way! Got it off of E-bay.....so I'm happy with the price!!! I'm excited to use it......I have rakes and blades and everything. My next step is to shave the GSDs bald like the Cresties.
ShatteringGlass
my co-worker has one, it works great on certain coats, others it wont do much for. I used it on a Husky today, who wasnt as thick as most, but it got a lot of dead hair out. I always ask her to borrow it whenever i have to furminate a dog :D
145980be
I was talking to a groomer who said the FURminator is a waste of money. She can get the same effect by using a 10 blade and just carding the dogs coat, and much much cheaper. :D

ObedienceGrrl
I think it's wonderful! It's done a great job on the boys. They look faboo! I just got the small one.....that way I can also use it on the cats. I just have to spend al ittle more time on the boys when I do it....but who cares! I'm very happy with it!! TDG
i bought one recently too and am pretty happy with it. i have 5 cats and a dog (terrier mix) but i still got the medium size since the smallest one doesn't have a replacable blade. Sabine
Question: Are those things good for plush-coats? (I've got one up and coming on my pup ! :)) I guess the Dane will still have to endure the good ol' shedding blade. :D
