Yesterday I went in Caeser's yard and found a dead rat. It was wet, and I'm afraid Caeser killed it. :(

I'm scared to pick it up, but I don't want any harm to come to Caeser if he...you know.

I'll have to wait for my dad to do it. :cry:

Do you think Caeser will be okay? I hope nothing happens between then and now.

As long as Caesar's up to date on all his shots, I'm sure he'll be fine. I'm surprised all he did was kill it. Buck definately would have killed and eaten it. :lol:

If you really really really really really really really really can't pick it up (and I bet you can do it :D ) then don't let Caeser near it in case it died from other reasons such as rat poison.

Can't you use a shovel or something to pick up up and throw it away? That's what I do here with the dead birds.

There is no way I could pick up a dead rat either. Maybeee with a very long handled shovel but definitely not with my hands, plastic bag or not.

I do the shovel thing too when Jackie kills something (squirrel, bird). I don't want to pick it up, but with the shovel I can do it.
