My Dobie and I will be in our first show Saturday and I don't know for sure about the grooming he needs on his belly. Can anyone help me. zheelah Posted October 7, 2004 Share Posted October 7, 2004 What I do with my dobe is just a bathe and some mink oil, usually a do the bathe the day before the show and the mink oil on the same day. Also make sure that here toenails are cut and short. Are you showing in AKC shows you might need to do a litle bit more grooming but this is what I do and I show in FCI shows.
