Guest Anonymous Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 This may sound strange, but my friend "adopted" a penguin for me. I get pictures and info about my penguin through the mail. I'll never get to own him, its more like a sponsorship for endangered animals. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of such an adoption for dogs. rottie_mama Posted March 11, 2003 Share Posted March 11, 2003 Most rescue groups offer a sponsorship program to folks who aren't able to adopt, but still want to help the dogs. What breed of dog does your sister like? Why don't you visit the sites of some breed rescue groups in her area and contact them about sponsoring one of their dogs.
