3. The doodle thing really urks me too and i don't really know why, i do love all dogs but put poo or doodle on the end and it just seems silly. i was looking up dog breeds the other day to get some reference photo's and came across a huge list along with a tonne of doodles that you couldn't click on yet....the one that really annoyed me was the saint berdoodle....i love saint bernards and can't even begin to imagine why they would want to make a saint berdoodle??
 4.
Did you go to art school? Look at those, Coal! :o You're a very talented artist.
Thankyou :D no, i'm self taught from books, i did get A+ 's at highschool for art but it wasn't for pet art, mostly is was sketching animals and some pottery work lol. felicia
 5.
Wow! Yet another talented Dogo artist! Felicia, your work is just wonderful! I'll definitely have to have you draw my kids sometime!
Thankyou Jackie! I would love to paint your kids :D I finally got my studio up and running, anassa is always in here on the bed, it's a guest room too lol and the cats are always at my feet, it's become their second home because i'm always in here. Thanks again. felicia

 8. i don't eat kangaroo meat, i love them way too much :D infact i only eat chicken and seafood. i have heard it's lean and nassa loves it, she especially loves the tails. felicia
 9. congrats on getting Tina :D i don't understand why people get rid of pregnant dogs, i'd be so excited about the puppies, i could never do something like that...i just don't get some people..... felicia
 10. Congrats on getting Leo back :D it seems funny that she would change her story, i would have went off at her (i have a fiery temper at times  ) if that happened to me it would be best for all involved if my husband picked the dog up alone  i think you have been given good advice so far, just act normal and give him space, he's probably upset from being away from his pack, i'm sure he will be fine soon. keep us updated okay :) felicia
 11.
Go Felicia! Chug, chug, chug! I think that she wants us to post how we get our dogs' attention. Such as treats, whistles, etc. I'm just guessing though.
heheh, the best thing is, i don't feel seedy at all this morning, my husbands homebrew doesn't give you a hang over thank goodness
14 she's just not good at wording stuff sometimes
okay, now i feel bad :( felicia
 12.
Couldn't you sit this guy down and talk to him? Maybe he's just a little bit thick and doesn't realize what you're trying to get across. Tell him that you mean business and that if he does it again, he's going to wish he hadn't. Say, "My dog, my rules." However, it also sounds to be like he is power-tripping a bit. The classic, "I'm a man, I know how to take care of a dog." If that's how he thinks you take care of a dog, he shouldn't be allowed to own one. He just seems to be very reckless to me. I don't trust him at all. Keep in mind, I've never met him & know nothing about him! LOL But, as said previously, if he is a danger to your dog, keep him away from her.
i have never actually sat him down and the reason i haven't is because he already thinks i'm silly for worrying  his girlfriend used to be like me but he's convinced her that she should let max off and now she's the same as him. i do think he's reckless and i certainly don't trust him with nass, he is great with dogs in every other way, he loves them and is very good with them but when someone keeps doing something you have told them not to do, well, it just gets annoying. he's a bit of a hippy i think, i haven't got anything against hippies but he has this big freedom thing going on, what he fails to realise is that dogs aren't like us, they don't think like us, the see a car and they don't think danger, they think nothing of it at all. so what i'm going to do is just not let him take her out by himself anymore, he adores her so hopefully this will teach him  thankyou all for your help :) elicia
 13. sorry about Zoe. my thoughts are with you :( ((((hugs)))) felicia
 14.

:) how do dogs like to be have alot of attetion well i hope that if you have a puppy you give it a lot of attentin so they never forget you thancks :D
i think iv'e had one too many beers  :drinking: cos that made no sence whatsoever!
It's only 11am Felicia how many beers have you had ????? :drinking:
oh, it's 11:24pm here, iv'e had four of my husband homebrew, that;s about eight commercial beers
nah, felicia, you can't chalk this one up to beer!
damn!
 15. LOL then bounds of into the distance, don't know if nass would fit though
 16.
:) how do dogs like to be have alot of attetion well i hope that if you have a puppy you give it a lot of attentin so they never forget you thancks :D
i think iv'e had one too many beers  :drinking: cos that made no sence whatsoever!
 17.
I won't let my dogs chase bears because they could get hurt, but they just think its fun. Sometimes what our dogs perceive as fun can be extremely dangerous. You're definately doing the right thing keeping her safe. Like the others said I wouldn't let them look after my dog anymore.
damn i would love to see a bear in the wild... as long as it was from a reasonable distance that is  what type of bears do you have where you live? i would love to see the big brown one's and the black one's, the only bears we have are koala's and they aren't even bears lol. you are right though, dogs don't always know that what they are doing is dangerous, maybe some people wouldn't care that much if something happened to their dog but i love nassa, my husband works very late sometimes and even on weekends, i live in a tiny town and none of my friends live here so nassa is like a best friend to me, i spend every day with her, she sleeps on the bed at night and i see her first every morning because my husband leaves for work very early so i'd be devistated if something happened to her. i'm not overprotective, i let her off her lead in safe places, the beach etc but some places i just think she's best left on her lead. sorry for rambling, iv'e been drinking my husband's homemade ginger beer and it's very alcoholic :drinking:  felicia
 18. that's true lol maybe i am overprotective sometimes but kangaroos can be dangerous, i don't want to spoil nassa's fun at all, i just want her to stay relativly safe.. if only kangaroo's were smaller.... felicia
 19. i don't really know, don't know a lot about BC's but she is sooooo cute! you are lucky, what a little darling :) felicia
 20. exactly, know it all, know nothing  damn it gets annoying though :drinka: :agrue:
 21. awww, iv'e always thought skunks looked cute, never seen (or smelt for that matter) one in real life, what do they smell like exactly? felicia
 22. Thanks sash, i think i do have to be less tactful sometimes, i just think it's rude and i come off as being over protective grrrr next time i will just say no, i think it's the only thing i can do because he obviously isn't going to listen to me. you guys are great and make me feel heaps better :D thankyou felicia
 23. i think i posted a topic a while ago on a friend of mine who lets my dog run free when her and her boyfriend petsit for me. well, they still tell me ten times or so every time i see them that i should let nass have more freedom, although this annoys me it got worse last weekend. my husband and i were staying with my friends boyfriend in the city, nass was allowed to sleep inside which was really nice of him, he lives right next to a busy road, his apartment is one on the botton floor of a three leval complex, it has a fence almost all the way around except where the cars come in, this section has no gate or anything. anyway, he says, 'i'll, take nass for a walk, it's completely fenced off out there so she could go off her lead' i knew it wasn't fenced all the way around and told him so, he just said 'oh, that little bit, she won't go near that' i told him yes she might not but i'd rather not risk it and could he please keep her on her lead, of course he said that was fine and took nass out (she isn't trained to come back and has run off a few times already and this guy has seen her do this). ten minutes later, her returns with nass and no lead  so i said 'i see you have taken her lead off again' and he's like 'oh, yeah, she was fine' grrrrrrrrrrrr :drinking: :drinking: i realised that because she was with him but i asked him not to do it and he does it every time! i don't want to cause arguments with these people because i really like them and they are good friends with both my husband and i but i just wish they would respect how i feel in regard to nassa, she is my dog, i don't tell them what to do with max. once when we looked after max they told me not to let him off the lead because he runs away sometimes and they would prefer to be there if that happened and i respected that so why can't they do they same for me? nassa goes off her lead in the park and at the beach and has a huge yard, she's allowed in whenever she wants, she has a great life, there are just certain places i don't want her roaming i i think that's my choice, i also don't like her running free with max because he chases kangaroos and sometimes goes missing for a few days, he's even been hurt by one and he is still allowed to do it... sorry but i really needed to vent because it's been annoying me a lot since last weekends incident. any suggestions? felicia
 24. i don't hunt at all, my dog is a pointer cross wolfhound so i know she'd love it but i'm not sure if i could bring myself to do it, i'd like to maybe go shooting one day with her (bird shooting), at the moment it still upsets me a bit. i do spearfish though and i'm getting a lot better, my husband loves shooting, especially kangaroos, i used to hate that but i can deal with it a lot better now. i think men that hunt are sooo manly though and the thought of my husband going shooting  felicia
 25. he reminds me of what one of those zombie dogs would look like....damn that's mean, the poor little guy :( lol felicia
