Someone help, please!

LOL!

I took Caeser on a short walk. When we neared my house, he gave a small growl, and nipped me bad enough to make me worried, and it made my skin red. No blood, but I'm really worried. I'm about to cry. How can I prevent this? Maybe he just wasn't ready to go back home.

PM me!

Check the username. I LOVE cats. Please PM me if you have any suggestions. For now, I'd suggest an Orange Tabby. Great cats! The best in the world. Also, intros will be hard, but well worth it. :D PM me if you want an info. I'm practically an expert. I've worked with cats for as long as I can remember, and have a few of my won right now.

Another off-leash idiot rant....
kittygirl109 replied to ShatteringGlass's topic in Everything about dogs
I understand how you feel. Caeser gets extremely excited around other dogs, and we go to a strict leash law-park. There are like at least 5 dogs there off leash. They come up, and Caeser goes crazy, and THEY'RE (the dog's owners) getting mad. UGH! :x Anyways, once a Cocker Spaniel came up to Caeser, off leash, and started to attack him. The dog bit his ankles, and his chest. Caeser was of course, freaked out, and I don't blame him. I was furious. Caeser tried to bite the Cocker's neck out of fear. I said 'Next time I see your dog off leash, he'll get reported. Keep him away." UGH! There's also a guy with a Pit Bull who is never on leash. I like Pits and all, but I'm nervous he won't like Caeser, who's part Pit. I completely know where your feelings are coming from. :x -
Thanks Dogpaddle! :D

:o *pukes* Okay, I'm going out there. I'm going ahead and saving up my courage.

Beautful! Congrats! :D

By the way, Caeser is up-to-date on his shots.

Thanks, guys. :) The reason I have to wait for my dad to do it, is I'm seriously squimish.. :o I might throw up..and... :o I'll have to try if dad hasn't done it yet, though.

I feel SO stupid, but what does senile mean? (Again, new doggie mom)

Yesterday I went in Caeser's yard and found a dead rat. It was wet, and I'm afraid Caeser killed it. :( I'm scared to pick it up, but I don't want any harm to come to Caeser if he...you know. I'll have to wait for my dad to do it. Do you think Caeser will be okay? I hope nothing happens between then and now.

While that picture is adorable, and I LOVE cats, it doesn't belong on this board. Try "Not a Dog?".

:o GAWD. They could be trying to hurt him. Mentally ill...*grumbles* -
It is sort of a catch 22. The only way to socialize a dog with problem behavior is to get them in the situation that triggers the behavior. I have this problem with Buck. He is dog aggressive to some dogs and while I don't mind that he can't be trusted to play with just any dog in the park, I won't tolerate maniac behavior around strange dogs. The only way to work on this is to GET AROUND strange dogs! But it's very difficult when people see the "friendly" lab and just let their dogs approach him without even paying attention. Than I look like the bad guy when Buck wants to eat them or even if he's being good and I have to ask them to please get their dog away from mine. Of course you're being responsible and doing a great job with Devin. It's a credit to you that he behaved so well. :-)
I know how you feel! Ugh! People come up to me in STRICT LEASH LAW PARKS with their dogs OFF LEASH. The dog attacks Caeser, and makes him scared out of his mind. Then Caeser tries his best to defend himself. I say "Get your dog away from my bbay at once! Do you want me to have to report you?!" I can't stand that.

I would have handled it differently. "Excuse me, Mam' but my dog isn't comforable around your child, and I advise you get him to stay near you. Its not the best idea to let him get near my dog. Your child is pestering him."  Anyways, I think its fine to have your dog in public, because that's the best way, as you said, to socialize him. However, I think you should allow him in dog events, such as dog parks. People there would hopefully be a bit more educated. I think its so funny what happened in the end. She had it coming.

I believe the youngest you can spay is 8 weeks. Unless your puppy is allergic to anestisia, no, she will not die.

Please help me with the next step

That sounds pretty good. I'll try that. Yesterday the bad thing that happened was he went in the trash, and I was frightened out of my mind because he took out a chicken bone! I got it just in time, though. I hope.. He also lost his own bone by hiding it somewhere. I have to go find it or get him a new one. -
I ask you, is a dog's life more important to you than a child's life??
Call me a total freak, but I think both lives are equal.

Please help me with the next step
kittygirl109 replied to kittygirl109's topic in Everything about dogs
Aw, thanks! :D That means so much to me. :buzi: (I'm only putting this because I can't find a hug smilee  ) -
OKay, now my question is, how can I have him inside, without a bone or something for him to chew on? Meaning, can I still keep him happy/not bored? I still will have one at times, but not all the time. Progress so far: He's allowed in four rooms, with a leash. When I think he's ready, I'll do another room. Then a closed room without a leash, and so on. Any other tips?

Nothing but a hoax. This guy was already reported and he was found to be a sick collage student with too mcuh time on his hands. Same with Save Toby, I'm guessing. www.savetoby.com -
There's stuff everywhere, because our house is getting fixed up, so I can't bring Caeser inside for a few days. Will this ruin his progress?
