This is terrible ! What happens to the dogs who already reside in these places do they have to be muzzled or euthanased or what ???? What are they baseing this on it's ridiculous!1 i work at a dog training club and i have known lovely natured dogs of all of these breeds I have a GSD X who is the biggest woosy ever to walk the planet and my sister owns a husky who is the most gentle laid back dog I've ever met in my life !!! This seems ludicrous to me :(

Yes us too :roll: we are Mummy and Daddy too !! They also have an Aunty Lannie (snowpaws!)a Nanny and Grandad and an Aunty Jan and an Uncle Graham and they all signed the tags on their doggy presents using these names !!! No we're not sad I think it's lovely :) Before we got Ellie there were no other dogs in the family but now they all love our dogs and they have a huge pile of presents at christmas !!! :Dog_run:

Hi everyone I'd like to pick your brains for a mo ! I have had conflicting advice/views etc about this subject and i would like your opinions please ! When you come home after leaving your dog/s how do you greet them-if at all. I was advised when having separation problems with my springer that i should blank her for 5 minutes or so when re-uniting with her as this would play down the fact that we had been apart,using this and other methods too she has improved no end and 9 times out of ten can be left for a couple of hours no problem. But now and again i will return home to howls ! :roll: This isn't really a major problem any more I just think she gets a bee in her bonnet now and again !! I would be interested to hear your opinions on the greeting issue though,I know of other people who have no separation problems at all and greet their dogs profusely which is lovely to see. :) I would really appreciate your views on this, Thanks xxx

My 2 get some of our leftovers but NEVER when we're eating !! ALWAYS after, mixed in with their food !! I want people to be able to come and eat at my house without being mugged !!!!

Hazel-n-m have faith in yourself ! You have come this far ! you MUST be firm with her though even when you feel like you can't be bothered !! (we all do that !) NEVER let her get away with even the little naughty things I think you have to show her that you are the one in control what you say goes-no compromise! It's hard I know my husband is the worlds worst for being soft on my 2 and they sure know it !!! Don't beat yourself up about it though you must believe that you can do it YOU CAN !! My sister was only 16 when she got her siberian husky and she's quite capable of training him and at 5 months he is already training at competition obedience level so the age issue is B******S !! Keep at it you'll get there xxxxxxx
