Oh, I'm sorry! I misunderstood. I had a big giant post on what a responsible breeder would do or how long to wait and then as I was looking over everyones reply's I didn't see and thing about him wanting to breed. :changes: I would wait till the dog in question is WAY out of her puppy stages breeding her in her first heat cycle is not only dangerous it can result in health problems for her such as growth stunt, ect. Before our Rotty was ours she had a batch of pups at too early of an age and is now stunted and small. :cry:

Minnesota, United States ******************** Posts: 2012 *ok, Breath kaite!* ok....Annie's has a dog show tommorow and we have been training SOOO hard all year. I'm sooooo nervous because this year she has to do everything off leash! She's a novice and that's alot to cover for a two year old doggie and only two years of training. Just so everyone knows heres the 4-H levels of dog obedience- Beg. A Beg. B Graduate Beg. Novice Graduate Novice Pre-Open Open and then there's four dog team, utility, and brace. Well since I went through Beginer A and Beg B, with odie, I couldn't take Annie in those classes, so when Annie was 6 months old she went against Graduate Beg. dogs, who had about three years of training and got CHAMPION!! So now I'm hoping we can do that again. :D :D Wish us luck!!

I know what you mean, annie was a year and a half, when she had to show in a class for mostly 3 year dogs, because I wasnt allowed to go back to the begginer classes because I had already been through them with my first dog. Not only did she get Champ at the county level, she went on and got Reserve Champ only seperating the leader by 1/2 a point. I was SOO Proud of her, and it was SO much fun! She is such a sweetie and I know she enjoyed all the lovin she got from all the people how would stop and pet her. :D :D

Sad....some people are sad. Who ...why...dont they know anything. Therefore the only thing Ive ever purchased from a pet store is supplys and fish(couldn't find them anywhere else near here, and walmart fish always have ick. :roll:
