As I was reading my Dog Fancy today, I read an Artical on Parvo. As a few of you know I lost a puppy to parvo last year. We tried everthing to save him. But Parvo is a very deadly dieses in pups. :cry: I looked for information every where from the moment we found out. I found NOTHING! The vet said just to make sure we kept fluids in him and hope for the best, and he gave him a shot and us some vitamin stuff. No I find out that there somthing else I could have done to save him. By feeding him pediasure which is filled with electrolytes. It could have saved him. If only I had known...so I guess I posted this so everyone else knew for future referance. He did check in thats how his mom knew where he was....I talked to him today...I found out that he wasnt in school because he got suspened fro 2 days..because he didnt have a ride to saterday school.

His Mom knew where he was...thats how the police found him... I dont know alot about him we just truly became friends a month ago..but ive known him for a year. I'm not sure how well he gets along with his mom.. I want to talk to him so BAD! But I dont know where he is...? I dont know where they took him..if he is at home..or what...

Stamina when faced with a problem solving task 1 I demand that they do not attack, lunge, nip, ect. at other dogs/people. They can have thier dislikes and growl...but anymore than that other than self-defence. 3. I like dogs who are willing to try new things, willing to learn. 6. Once they learn it, They will have to preform it... Im a kaite.

I like my rescues and will always have them...I have 6 now. Two of which are getting older in age. After Buck and Dutchess have happily passed on I am going to consider getting a purebred Border collie, Aussie, or rotty to go to college with and live up to pace with my fast life style. As much as I hate to go against the grain....I've never been one to bite my tounge... But how are new breeders soppose to get started? Without asking questions, hopefully chris has headed our advice and not got scared of us for calling him bad right away. Maybe I misunderstood again. I have been working for years under a very responisble breeder and as soon as I become of age I will manage the kennals, and even know I am considered in some places..by some people "bad" because at one pointed I wanted to perfect the Rottwieler breed, now I have found a different proffesion because I could never let anyone take the pups because I would be too attached and then I would never have time to train dogs for SAR. But even if I still wanted to I would always be considered or questioned of being a back-yard breeder, just because I haven't been raising dogs for years before. :changes:
