1. Oh boy, nothing like Nike to give us Oregonians a bad name. I can't believe that there was a fight in Oakland though! :o I've never heard of a fight here, but maybe I'm naive to it...
2. This was on doggie days, but I never told you! Sorry, but now you know! And I'm going to see her TODAY! MAYBE, MAYBE.... 416697- Dog:Border Collie/Blue Heeler Roseburg,OR 541-679-0197 Nancy [email protected] 02-18-2003 Name: Sable Age:3.5 yrs Sex:F Size:L Delete I have a wonderfull dog that I need to find a home for. Sable is utd in shots and is licensed. She knows basic obedience and is housebroke. She is good with older children(over 6yrs) and is good with other dogs and cats. She is very loyal and needs room to run and fetch a ball or frisbee. Asking 50.00 adoption fee. We are going to see her on thursday! Tomorrow, tomorrow! Ok, this is some more info we got when we called about her... She is spayed, "smarter than a whip", she has done agility and was wonderful, she has the body of a border collie, the coloring of a blue heeler, her hair is a mixture of both, and she is a medium sized dog weighing ABOUT 45 lbs. She also knows basic obedience! She sound great, but we will see... on thursday we will go see her (as you know), then if we like the looks of her (personality, etc.) she will come for a visit to our house to meet our animals. I will keep you updated! TODAY, TODAY! I could hardly sleep last night, I was SO exited! It took me a hour or two to get to sleep and I got up early (for me anyway! ). I am going to Wildlife Safari to volunteer from either 10-4 or 1-4 then after that we're going to see Sable! I'm hoping WS takes my mind off it for a little while, but I hope I'm not to tired afterward. TODAY, TODAY!
3. WELCOME! I have a lab named Winnie and we do mostly agility.
4. What breed is Tyr? (sorry I haven't been around lately)
5. She rings a bell to notify you that she needs to go out??? :o
6. Awww... :D If you ever want to get rid of that "rabid fox" I'll take him!
7. praying right now...trust in the Lord our God...
8. Wow that's awesome! I would love to hear the story to...
9. I am  so sorry    I have a tiny taste of what you feel, my duck (I know it's a duck, but they're my babies) got hit today. I can't even imagine the anguish you are feeling...all the animals I've lost I can still hear...meowing, quacking, mooing, barking, and everything...it's so hard.
10. :o I am in a agility club that meets every other week and it costs me $5 each time! 8) And I can get one-on-one training for no extra cost! (it's a small town thing  )
11.
Without provocation please, and then we write english, till then Croatian and only croatian!
When are you going to speak english?
12. By the way...Great pics! :D
13. Consider this: Number of new individuals registered (AKC) in 2001 Ranked Breed Number registered 61 Border Collie 1,796 5 Beagle 50,419 14 American Cocker Spaniel 25,445 76 English Cocker Spaniel 1,228 113 Welsh Springer Spaniel 283 So... from this a BC is twice more likely to meet up with a Beagle than a Cocker Spaniel. For every BC registered last year there are about 28 beagles and only 14 cockers. Now for these breeds currently on petfinder: BC 2173 Beagle: 2591 Cocker 1138 Ok... I made my case.

Oh, OK. I will tell Winnie you didn't mean she was not as good as a male.
15. Beagles are cute! They are really adorable, and the one I know is a  ! (sometimes) Like I said before, it's possible her sister has a different dad to be that different.
16. HA! I found my proof. Your dog has short hair. It wouldn't get short hair from the BC side so the only choices we've come up with (that have short hair) is a beagle! (or a lab) :D Soooo... Make your case!
17. Oh poop! :drinking: I think I found your spaniel. :( Not the one you thought though! (ha! ) Actually not sure cause it's a little big for your dog's sister, but they could've had a different dad. Anyway here it is. A welsh springer spaniel? So hard to tell... :-? The eyes, ears, color, coat, and color are wrong.
Oh, and I've been told (and agree from experience) that males are better pets than females.

Like gigishiba, I've heard that males are better. I heard they were more of a sort of "yeah, sure" (passive) type, whereas the females are more stubborn/stressed and won't let off as easily.
To put in my two cents worth, I would like to say I disagree to some extent. I have not been around males THAT much, but I have been around a few and the females were WAY better than them. Not that I know that much, but Winnie definetely is not stressed...maybe stubborn though! This is a question: I noticed that on TV the best dogs were female, but in conformation the males were best. Is this because males are...never mind just read it above. So males are more passive? Well then I'm definetely getting a girl. I don't want another lazy dog!
