drjeffrock Posted June 9, 2005 Share Posted June 9, 2005 I have never had a Cane Corso myself, but I have been around a couple. They are kind of like an Akita in the sense that they are not exactly known to fawn all over strangers or guests in your house. They are natural guard-dogs, need no training for that. I think that they are not dogs for the average Joe pet-owner. Like any other powerful, strong breed socialization at a young age is vital. They sure are beautiful and impressive looking!
