Baileysmom Posted January 19, 2005 Share Posted January 19, 2005 THis morning I went to let Bongo in from going potty and he was outside crouching liek he needed to poop but nothing was coming out :( I noticed the same thing one time last week, but since I dont usually stand out there to watch them do their business (Bailey wont go if anyone is watching!) I dont know if this is happening all the time........ is there somethign I can give him to help him go? is this a sign of something beginning to shut down in his body? :cry: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If he is constipated which can quite frequently happen, you can give him a few mls of lactulose which should help ease him, but of course consult your vet if you are really concerned. I have these "issues" - dont know about dogs, but when I get bad I eat ritz crackers with french onion dip....always helps.
