Guest Anonymous
Hi Folks! I'm sending out a plea for a 3 year old Great Pyrenees that is in a Kill Shelter near Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a 3 year old Owner turn in. The owners dumped him because "He was a little to much dog". The shelter shaved him down due to the heat but all the shelter workers tell me he is a wonderful dog! I have worked with this shelter in the past for NASRN and they are VERY Rescue friendly. IF You know of a rescue or someone who can help this little boy please pass this around. Cross posting is very appreciated. I am about 2 hours away and not set up to hold him here for any length of time but I will do whatever I can to help who ever is going to get him. The shelter will release without fee to rescue but the animal is not fixed or utd on shots. I am not sure of the fee for individuals. JackieMaya
Yay! Another one saved! My sister lives in Texas and has a Great Pyrenese who guards her sheep. He's just the sweetest dog! As she's allergic to dogs (even though she also has 3 Irish Setters), she can't groom him, so she gets him shaved once a year.
