8. Since being excepted as a home checker for the RSPCA i have been asked to help find two separate forever homes for two lovley dogs. I thought i`d post the dogs details in the forum incase anyone can help or if someone knows someone else that would lke to offera home to one of these lovley fur babies. The first dog is a female Rott/lab mix, but if you dodn`t know she was a mix you would honestly think she was all Rottie. She is two and a half and the poor girl has been in RSPCA kennels since Setember 2002, so we really really need to get her into a forever home and out of the kennels. She has a very lovley nature, is good with children. But even though she is good with children it is RSCPA policy not to place any guard dog breed with a family with children under 10yrs old. The second is a male Blue Doberman, (who we call Blue), he is 4 and has such a soppy, loving nature, all he wants to do is cuddle, cuddle, cuddle.....he is a very, very sweet and loving boy. He too is in RSPCA kennels and has been for a while. The poor boy has a couple of medical problems, he suffers from a thyroid problem which is under complete control with medication, he eyesight is impaired as he is virtually blind in one eye and had cattarct`s (sp) on the other eye, whch have been removed since he`s been in the care of the RSPCA. We feel he would be best placed as an only dog due to his eyesight problems as it wouldn`t be fair for him to try and cope with smaller dogs etc running round under his feet as he cannot see them properly, bless him. If anyone feels they could give a forever home to one of these lovley furbabies, please send me a private message so i can put you in contact with the co-ordinator. THANKS GUYS.

14. i was reading our local newspaper today when i was horrifically sickened by an large news spread on the 3rd page. (Unfortunatley my scanner is broken so i can`t show you any pics and i will have to write up some of the article) HOW POPPY THE 8YR OLD ALSATIAN WAS LEFT TO STARVE TO DEATH A local mother of two has ben banned from owning animals for three years after leaving a dog to starve to death in the bathroom of her home. Magistrates heard how an RSPCA inspector found the emaciated body of Poppy the German Shepherd dog at the Revesby Avenue home of 32 yr old Lyne Anne Potterton. Poppy was just half the weight she should have been and was infested with fleas, the court heard. RSPCA Inspector Phillip Pidcock, who was called to the house after a complaint to the RSPCA said Poppy`s skeletal form was showing through her coatwhen he found the body. Vet Michael Kettle said Poppy, who was about 8 years old, had no fat on or in her body. Her ribs were protruding and there was severe muscle atrophy in all four limbs, dorsal alapetia, dermatitis and a heavy infestation of fleas, he told the court. Mr Kettle said in a statement "In my opinion te dog had suffered for at least six weeks. It was severely emaciated and should hae had a vets attention weeks ago." Housewife Potteron admitted to the offense, thought to have happened between December 22 last year through until February 3 this year. She said Poppy belonged to her ex partner, Lee Arthur Mackman, who had left last november. Magistrates disqualified Potteron from owning any animals for three years and forced her to hand over another pet she currently owned. They sentenced her to a 120 hour community punishment and fined her
15. OH he looks such a sweetie, and in need of a loving home, poor little boy. I really, really hope the meeting goes well and Freebie excepts him. I will be thinkng of you and keeping all finger, toes, paws and tails crossed for you. Please give us an update as soon as possible XXX
16. one of my dogs, BARNEY LOVES THE HOSE TOO   , but his most favorite thing is when our kids get their water pistols out, running round the garden squirting each other, he jumps up as the kids are aiming their water pistols at each other and catches the squiting water in his mouth, he goes mad, he just loves it   He pays that game with our kids for hours   Shaddow also likes water too, either staling my bubble baths, or tryingto get in the shower with my or when we`re out walkingaccross the fields he jumps into the first sream or dyke he see`s   But Joe isn`t a water baby at all, unless it`s his bath time and then he quite like it especially if i shower him, he seems to like the massage effects that one of our shower heads have
17.
Want to trade? My dogs like to bark at "guests". They just do... Want to know what is really funny? If one of my dogs barks about something...the other two start barking. And they usually don't know what they are barking at, so they turn round and round in circles and they just look lost!!! I wish they were barkless!!
 my dogs also do the "running round in circles thing", when one has started barking and the other 2 just start barking although they don`t know what their barking for  , and then they all run round in cicles looking at each other barking, looking lost......it`s sooooooooo funny
18.
:D :D  Dog won't bark, you should be so lucky. I have two that think it's necessary to talk to the children behind us while they are jumping on their trampoline and they also talk to their saint bernard friend who live next door, and of course there is always the last word contest between all three of my babydogs when I tell them to stop.
 my lot do the "last word" thing too , when i tell them to stop barking, especailly BARNEY my JRT
19. CONGRATULATIONS
20. Cortnek, that`sa good idea about checking with the power company, i would never have thought of that :D It`s definatley something that we humans can`t hear :-? I`ll let you know if i get to the bottom of this puzzle, but in the meantime if anyone has anymore ideas`s, i`d love to hear them :D
21. my dogs run in there sleep too  , and do really funny facial expressions :D , aswell as the whimpeing and grunts and groans
22. ellieangel maybe you and i should start some doggy parks
23. he does it whether i`m asleep or awake, th t.v`s on or off, or the computer`s on or off, the house can be silent and he still does it or the house can be noisey and he still does it. It also dosen`t matter where he is in the house, which ever room he`s fallen asleep on or with who he`s gone to sleep with makes no difference at all. So i`m wondering if he`s hearing something that i can`t like you said. It must be a clock tower or something like that but too far away for me to hear it.....i`m thinking of that theory because it`s at the same time every night, so a clock tower or church clock would strike the same time everynight. But then if it is that why does he only howl at the midnight strike? :-? THANKS Courtnek :D
24. does anyone know if we have these lovley "doggy parks" in England that is often mentioned in the forum, if so where, as there is none where i live :(
25. all my dogs kiss me back too, it`s sooooooo lovley isn`t it...it`s my favorite thing, i just love it :iloveyou:
