i did similar things to the suggestions from mei mei, rosebud and mouseatthebusstop and they all became the best of friends with time. So im sure yours will be fine too :D goodluck :wink:

oh this is terrible :evil: i like michele`s idea of that sign, it might put them off in future, and diffinatley report it to the police. i had this happen to my dogs about 4-5yrs ago. the nieghbours were throwing slug poison pellets over the fence for my dogs to eat when ever we were out or weren`t looking. Unfortunatley even after how careful were when we let them outside Bronwin my rotty got poisoned bady and spent a week at the vets on drips and everthing despartatley trying to get the poison out of her system and keep her from becoming even more dehydrated by the poison, The poor girl couldn`t even stand up, we really thought we were going to loose her. It was one of the worst things that`s ever happened to my dogs :cry: these people who do it are sick and evil :evil: :evil: The police weren`t much help, so my husband went round to the nieghbour and lets just say had a "word" with them, and it worked as they`ve never done it again!! Hope you can find some way of protecting them, and inspecting the garden thoroughly before you let them out. but i`d really do the suggestion about the sign, it will probably put them off if they think thier being watched and that people are aware of what`s going on. good luck, and keep us updated :D

The only one of my boys who`s interested in gardening is my middle boy shaddow, but his idea of gardening is to dig up the nice parts of the lawn to create more heaps of dirt :roll: :cunao: thanks or that cute stroy :D

my yorkshire terrier caled Joe is scared stiff of the hoover, when anyone switches it on he rushes upstairs and hides under my sons bed! Yet my Lurcher cross called Shaddow adores the hoover and one of his favorite things is to be hoovered :roll: , he begs whoever`s doing the hoovering to get the hose part and hoover up and down his back!! lol. Shaddow is one of those that dosen`t seem to be scared of anything. The funniest one of all is Barney my jack russell he is only scared of one thing which is if he or anyone else "breaks wind" !!, he runs away with his tail between his legs and hides!! , bless him, LOL.
