hI hOW AWFUL it makes me sick the way some people abuse dogs for breeding just for money and they cant even take care of them.Still good work you sre doimg taking in the dogs you have I admire you so much. I bet the photos are awful,I hope they can all be saved and regain there health. All so its a big worry this time of year that people buypups fpr xmas presents then dont want them when they are fully grown.I cant say how much your post upset me I hate to hear of any animal miss treated like that.Anyway well done I think it is great the way you have taken on 4 of these dogs.Have a very nice xmas and happy new year.

I dont really have much advise only maybe you could spend some time with zoey,just you and zoey.I think most of use have at least one favarite,I know I do and my family tell me I spoil J/D and my son will say I spend more time with J/D than I do with him,and he is 23yrs old and at work all day with is own place lol :lol: :lol: .Which really make's me smile.Just let zoey see you are the boss and that you love zoey as well.As far as your husband well I think they do get a bit jealous I know mine did when he was alive.In fact I say to my son fancy being jealous of my dog he said well you treat her like a human which is true :lol: :wink: :angel: Anyway good luck.

[b]Hi, I was wondering if any one as any advise on stomch trouble I have an 7 mth old pup and the last 2 days she has had a bad tummy, she isnt eating much and has the runs terible . I have kept her on fluids and made sure she has had plenty.I wondered if may be her food might be to rich for her.Reason for this is I have had her on puppy food until now and some one said I should now try her on adult food so I have the first couple of days she seemed fine but I have to try evrey thing I can.I must say she dose seem a lot better today other wise I would have taken her to the vets. thats why I am wondering if its food trouble any advise would be great.I must admit it been a very messy few days julie :o :oops: :oops: :P [/b]

I know how it feels to be bitten by a breed of dog,as I said in my post.I have also worked with a lot of breeds and I found them all to be different just as we humans are in many ways.But really my point is I hate the finger always being pointed at the few breeds that always hit the news.we should all know has responebly dog owners that we should do our best to bring our dogs up to repect what we train them and I do belive that most of us do.Its only those that buy a dog such as a pit bull rottie ect because they feel big walking up the street with it.Also they teach there dog to behave in an aggressive way.So in many cases the owner is as much to blame as the poor dog. :evilbat: :evilbat: :evilbat: [/b]

[b] No we dont have halloeew as an hoilday its just some people just use any excuss to light fireworks off.We really only should let fireworks off on bonefire night the 5th november and some do let them of to bring the new year in on december the 31st.But they put them in the shops so early these days that they get brought,There are a lot of younest buy them and thats were the trouble is.But last night 31st of october our dog JD was going crazy she didnt know were to hide,there was so many fireworks going of it was stupid.WHY people do it I dont know. :evilbat: :evilbat: :evilbat: But they do.I dont mind people having fun but some people take the mick. thats all.[/b]

[b]I do admire the way you do thingsand I do agree with the way you do it.But I am sorry to say this but over here there is a lot of old people get a knock on the door and lets face it it worries them.My father is 75yrs and live's alone has my mother passed away early this year.Any way he phoned me last night to tell me is door was being knocked every few mins. THats what I dont agree with.Also some of the kids do only do it for money you give then a treat and they look at you as if you are stupid.or you just get a lot of abuse.But I am pleased that there is some out there that do things propley.[/b]

[b]I didnt tell my story for any one to feel sorry for me,My point was that people point there finger at pit bulls when it dosent matter what the breed they can all be nasty when they want to be.But the trouble with pit bull is they get put in the paper.people make a big deal of it,but if its any other breed it dont hit the papers.Also its not the dog thats at fault in all cases some of the owners are to blame.These dogs cant speak up for then selfs so some one has to. I took the job because I love animals,also I knew what I was doing when I accept the job.I delt with alsorts of breeds and it wasnt just the pit bulls you had to watch out for.I agree we should study the breeds but I still say all the studing you do can never perpare you for what a dog might be thinking when it decides to attack.PEOPLE are different so why shouldnt dogs be.and yes I knew what the job was all about but I am not sorry thats the kind of work I decided to do.I THINK ALL BREEDS DESEVE A CHANCE.[/b]

well how awful he looks a lovely dog. I hate fire works why they have to sell them before the night is beound me.Our dog as been going mad all night tonight not knowing were to go. The fireworks here have been going of all night.I dont know why but I'm sure they seems to get louder each year.plus you always hear of dogs cats and childern getting hurt .it should be organised only not sold in the shopsAnyway I hope they get well soon and I hope the owner turns up.Good luck.

[b] :lol: :o I have seen quite a lot about Halloween, I realise the kids seem to enjoy it but I am trying to work out what all the fuss is about.Its only been the last few uears that we have done any thing about it in the uk.I know I sound like a boring person but it just seems to me it's just another money making for the companys that make all the different things they put in the shops.Also I dont agree that kids should go out just to knock on doors hoping to get money.I over heard a group of kids were I live saying I love this time of year first halloween then xmas ,were they go out carol singing.If you dont give then when they come you get all sorts of abuse thrown at you.Also its not fair on the elderly having there doors knocked at night.and if your thinging I let my son do it your wrong I belive its just another form of begging.for adults they can have a party and have a good time thats not like knocking on doors.Sorry if I sound boring but I just thought it should be said.I have heared a lot of adults moan about the kids but not mant that will say so. :evilbat: :evilbat: [/b]

[b][size=6][/size] Hello there i must agree with you,I have a long story about a collie cross.But I will make it as short as I can. I worked for our local vet for quite a long time and was climbing the ladder so to speak.I started of as a kennal maid at there quiruntine kennals then I went to being a vets assistant.From there I was going to train to become a vet.Any way one evening we was doing the late surgery. I was asked to fetch this mans dog up and that was it it attacked me and ripped half my leg apart.SO I always say it dosent matter what type the dog is if its nasty its nasty.I love dogs so much I have a collection of over 400 pot dogs,But I dont belive you can point the finger at just one breed.Trouble is they seem to report pit bulls or even rotties.you never hear of the others that attack people.so you see I belive any dog no matter what breed can turn nasty.[/b]

I would make sure you offer her water in small amounts,and a small amount of food.If the food and water is there she just might be tempted.But the one thing you should make sure is a drink.If you are worried call the vet they will advise you. Good luck with the pups. :)

[b] I cant belive that some one or even a vet would do it at 7weeks,the earliest I've every seen or heard of is 6months,some will do it at 5months at a push,but 7WEEKS.ARE YOU SURE ???????????.the poor little thing,its bad enough at 5/6months.I think I will look into that one.[/b]
