imported_Debbie
Has anyone been reading about the woman that had the face transplant ? I read today in our local paper, she was attacked by her own dog, a Labrador..... Here's a link to the story (not my paper) http://www.cnn.com/2005/HEALTH/12/02/france.face/?section=cnn_world
Ash
Wow! Sad that it was her own dog! I always wonder the stories behind though , why the dog attacked.
ObedienceGrrl
I heard something about that on the news but didn't know that she had it because of a dog attack. Maybe we should ban Labs now? Sorry......just slipped out......

cheechweech
yea, it sounds like a piece of the story is left out......it is weird
I think the story has been tidied up quite a bit. From what I have read, the woman whose face was bitten partly off was unconscious after a suicide attempt after fighting with her daughter. For whatever reason, the dog took after her then. To add to the weirdness, the woman who was the face donor, died of suicide after handing herself.
