What kills me is that I know a good many of the pets being rescued now belonged to lower income people who now have nothing to go home to. NO where to live, nothing of their former lives. I believe their pets are not going to be reclaimed. That just gives fuel to my husband grandmother and her "poor people don't deserve pets"...of course she was aiming that at me.
