Guest Anonymous
Well as I posted earlier I adopted a Senior Chi mix. I knew when I got her that she had "runny eyes" but as I'm looking and watching her it seems that the "goo" is really thick but that her eyes are rather dry. I'm going to call my vet tomorrow but I was wondering if anyone knows of a condition that causes this. The "goo" is clear/creamy color (not green or yellow that would indicate infection). I know that when I get dry eyes I produce a thick film that is rather uncomfortable. Is it the same in dogs? I'm wondering if some stright visine would be okay for her. rotten_two
entropion? the eyelids turn inward so maybe the inward tilt of the eyelid is drying the eye and causing increased eye boogies? edited because i am weetodded!
Guest Anonymous
Thanks Rotten. I'm calling the vet today and explaining the situation to him. He's pretty cool. He'll give me advice on things to try to ease any discomfort then will see here when he has an opening.
