pyrless Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 i got my new dog fancy mag yesterday and the cover and feature is the AmStaff. There are some lovely lovely photos and an honest article about the responsibilities in this society of owning this type of breed, making sure they are good ambassadors, etc. Plus, and I didn't know this, there are photos of grey and white ones, which are GORGEOUS, I have never seen those before! What a lovely breed. Quote
cheekymunkee Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 The grey dogs are what is called "blue". They are very pretty. But then, I think ALL of them are. Quote
drjeffrock Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005
:D Are the blue ones more rare?
People breeding them certainly think so, and advertise them as such. Quote
cheekymunkee Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 No, there really is no such thing as a rare color in pit bulls. Although, like Drj says, the breeders seem to think so. Quote
pyrless Posted August 16, 2005 Author Posted August 16, 2005 oohhhhh. one of those. Anyway. They really caught my eye. The breed, from what I read there too, seems like a great pet. Respect to all you owners, I know it must be hard to live with the sterotypes and ignorance. Quote
pyrless Posted August 18, 2005 Author Posted August 18, 2005 hmmm. is that just an aesthetic thing then? Quote
