Guest Anonymous Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Hi there, My 5 & 1/2 month Old Shih Tzu has 1 wiggly tooth (it's a sharp one on the rght side) Is this too young to lose a tooth?! Im so scared... Thanks for your help. Quote
boosiebutt Posted March 12, 2005 Posted March 12, 2005 My Yorkie and Maltese (both toys, like shih tzus) both got their adult teeth around 5 1/2 to 6 months. So, losing baby teeth now sounds just about right. Unfortunately, neither Peanut nor Pixie lost any teeth before their adult teeth grew in, so we're going to the vet to get them pulled next week.
