I know quite a few of you on here use this.....

Would it be beneficial to Tater to use this now because of his slipped disk? He's on just a little Glucosamine, but I just don't think it's enough. I'd like to up it and I think this is the supplement to use.

Any info would be great!

By the way.....the vet really encourages me to use glucosamine with him now. She was very happy that I brought it up. Which kind of makes me happy that she just doesn't want me to use NSAIDs for the rest of his life, ya know?

Is it a bad flavor? Or could it be mixed in with food?

The powdered vits that I give in the morning, I mix with a little canned food. Could I do the same? Or will he refuse the food because of the taste/smell?

Alright thanks!

I'm looking forward to getting my bottle. I ordered yesterday.

I had $5.00 off and free shipping so I thought I'd give it a try!

AAP, if you sign up for the 'free weekly give away' on the site, you should get the same deal that I did....the 5 bucks off and free shipping. So that puts it down to $25 a bottle.

I've been meaning to update the board on our use of Synflex here. I've been giving it to my dogs, mainly Jesse, for about 6 weeks now.
Honestly, I have not seen ANY true difference or improvement.
BUT, Jesse has been on glucosamine for a number of years so I doubt there was the ability for any dramatic change.
I am certainly not saying the dogs do not benefit from Synflex, just that I have not seen anything different since using it.
Jesse is also sneaking up on 13.5 so I certainly cannot expect BIG changes.
I have had no problem at all with putting it in their food, my dogs still very eagerly lick their bowls clean.
Jesse is my 'picky' dog, even he eats his food with the synflex in it. Most of the time, I add a bit of fish or cooked meat to their food but I've also just put the Synflex in, added a tiny bit of hot water to thin it, then added their kibble.
I usually just drink it 'straight up' from the bottle, make a face, then drink some water or whatever. The taste does not linger.

I completely believe in this stuff. We give it to our Pomeranian Bella every day and it has worked miracles. We started to notice her holding up her back leg while she was eating or standing when she was just a puppy. The vet said she had a luxating paetella and felt we needed to medicate her and eventually have surgery. So I posted on this site and many people raved about Synflex. I ordered it and have been putting it in Bella's food for about 9 months or so now. She no longer holds up her leg and runs and plays with no problems. I highly recommend this product and will use nothing else.
