Hi. I am a newbie to this board but i thought i would give this a try. This is my dog max. I came upon him a few months back. He is 12 pounds and the vet says he might reach 14. He is 10 months old. I am pretty sure he is a mix, but i do not know of what. Many say that he is a jack russel mixed with a chihaha( i cant spell). He is really solid for his size. As i said he should be pretty much fully grown in the pics. Anyone have any ideas? I hate not knowing for sure. Any information would be appreciated.
Thank You! IF you need more pics let me know. I got my digi cam ready

CUTE!!! Gee, it's really hard to say. I do see the Chihuahua-no doubt. I'm certain of that. In one pic the legs look really "bully" to me...Bulldog, Pit, Boston Terrier, Pug. I even see that bulldog rose ear thing going on. However, there's really no stockiness to her. I'm usually pretty good at guessing breeds, but I'm totally stumped. I can't wait to see what others think. One thing is for certain, CUTE!!! :D

It's posted twice --- I answered the post under "Pictures".

Chihuahua definately (probably 1/2), then 1/4 of something + 1/4 of something else (??). Stumped too! Pug, JRT, something along that line.

Hi. Thank all of you for the responses. I am now almost certain that he is a jrt and chihaha. My friend guessed jrt because my dog is always hyper. He runs and jumps around the yard constently. My friend said that jrt are a pretty energetic dog. This was my first post in this forum and so far i am really impressed with the people here. Thank you all.

 I believe it is a rate Portugese palace Dog. Those wonderful little dogs were the rage in the court of King Charles. Ladies of the court would carry them around in their large sleeves.

The dogs could only be fed off silver plates!
