Dogs are designed to gulp their food down and let their strong acid digestive juices do the bulk of taking food apart to make the nutrients available to be used by their bodies.

im a first timer here but im really scared about my boxer,hes 8years old and hes drinking water but not eating at all we have to force feed him. every time we feed him or he drinks alot of water he throws it up. and hes always laying down for hours at a time. can some one please help me.we would have taken him to the vet but we have no money. i really love this dog and would hate to give him up.
