All colors are acceptable providing they have black noses, lips and eye rims. The exceptions are the livers and blues, which have pigmentation that compliments that particular color. The nose leather should be broad and the nostrils well open. Eyes should be large, dark and round, except in livers and blues where the light color is permissible. The Shih Tzu is a sturdy, lively, alert toy dog with long flowing double coat. Befitting his noble Chinese ancestry as a highly valued, prized companion and palace pet, the Shih Tzu is proud of bearing, has a distinctively arrogant carriage with head well up and tail curved over the back. Although there has always been considerable size variation, the Shih Tzu must be compact, solid, carrying good weight and substance.

Even though a toy dog, the Shih Tzu must be subject to the same requirements of soundness and structure prescribed for all breeds, and any deviation from the ideal described in the standard should be penalized to the extent of the deviation. Structural faults common to all breeds are as undesirable in the Shih Tzu as in any other breed, regardless of whether or not such faults are specifically mentioned in the standard.

An overall well-balanced and pleasant expression supersedes the importance of individual parts. [I]Care should be taken to look and examine well beyond the hair to determine if what is seen is the actual head and expression rather than an image created by grooming technique[/I]. [B]Eyes[/B] - Large, round, not prominent, placed well apart, looking straight ahead. [I]Very dark[/I]. Lighter on liver pigmented dogs and blue pigmented dogs. Błędem moim było logowanie się na tym forum . Widzę że przepowiednie odnośnie mojego linczu powoli się spełniają ;) tyle że ja mam to w ... nosie oczywiście .Wiem swoje i tego będę się trzymał . Jeśli chodzi o dyskusje na temat typów shih-tzu , to myślę , że temat powinniśmy zamknąć bo dzielenie typu amerykańskiego na kanadyjski , meksykański , gwatemalski. nikaraguański , salwadorski nie ma chyba sensu. Twoje pytania sa czasami zadziwiające - jak to ostatnie o to czy grzbiet powinien być prosty czy też "koci". Masz shih tzu i powinnaś przeczytać chociaż raz wzorzec. Tym bardziej, że czasem sprawiasz wrażenie osoby będącej expertem w rasie i osobom z długoletnim doświadczeniem i dużymi osiągnięciami (które dobrze Ci radziły) odpowiadasz w sposób arogancki.

Przestańcie już tak jeździć po tej Goji bo naprawdę robi się niemiło .Szczególnie Dianthus upodobała sobie ją jako ofiarę i obiekt ataków .Każdy początkujący ma prawo do pytań i nie powinno wymagać sie niewiadomo jakiej wiedzy od osoby , która kilka miesięcy ma shih-tzu .Mnie posty Goji też nieraz osłabiają , ale staram się nie komentować tego w tak perfidny sposób na forum .Jeśli kogoś "bolą"posty goji to piszcie jej to na priv , zamiast poniżać ją na forum .

Sądzę, że masz rację. Ale mój post (jak zauważyłeś może był to mój pierwszy post) miał na celu zwrócienie uwagi, aby przed napisaniem na ten topik chociaż odrobinkę "przemyśleć" swoje pytanie. A co do Dianthus: ona jest raczej "zjadliwa" w swoich wypowiedziach. Tak, zgadzam sie z Toba... I ze wszystkimi, ktorzy pragna spokoju na Forum i milej atmosfery.

Jesli sobie pomagac, to chetnie i milo, a nie npadajac na siebie i obrazajac sie. Juz nie raz bylam postawiona w podobnej sytuacji i wiem,ze nie jest to mile. Slaweknowicki-mam nadzieje,ze dobrze pamietam nick,jak nie, to przepraszam, ma Pan racje, tu powinno byc MIŁO!!! Zgadzam sie z Panem,ze nikt juz nie powinien "dolowac" Goji, tylko jej pomagac. Mi pomogli dobrzy ludzie, ktorzym bardzo mocno dziekuje, jej tez powinni...

Goju, zycze ci powodzenia na ringacj i powodzenia z psem. Zeby sunia byla przede wszystkim szczesliwa i czula dsie przez Ciebie kochana, a dopiero niech na drugi plan zejdzie ciagla jej pielegnacja. Ale nie zaniedbuj jej! :) Taka moja rada :) Pies powinien czuc sie kochany przez wlasciciela i to jest najwazniejsze. Chyba,ze chcemy miec psa-lalke, marionetke, ktora ma nam pomoc we wzbogaceniu sie.
