Wouldnt it be better to train a dog in Love not fear ? Do you think the rottie was just doing that stuff because she/he loves her owner or out of fear of getting shocked? I think EC are awfull and should never be used. :x

This is very sad. :evil: :cry: Maybe you could print some info off of your PC for her about puppy mills and such. Im sorry to be blunt and to the point but your sister should not be allowed to have any animals. Maybe insted of giving the dog away when she gets tired of him encourage her to give it to a NO KILL animal shelter or rescue.

I feed Diamond Lamb and Rice With NO Byproducts, Soy, or Corn. They also get wet mixed in some times and I also feed raw veggies.

Let me say I am an owner of a wonderfull Mastiff puppy. The NILIF Program is awsome and has worked well for me. Another thing you can do is this. When my brother left us his pitbull named Atlas with us to take care of he had a bad problem with biting hands and playing rough and had no manners what so ever. When he got rough in anyway I would put him in a down position and make him roll over onto his back and I would hold him there for a few mins. He would only get up on my terms not his. Meaning he would only get up if he relaxed. This only took a few times for him to learn that I was boss and he was not. I have not had any more problems with him. This is done gently with only enough force to get him down and over. Anyways with your dog being mastiff/mix you need to get this under control asap.

Leather is good for homes with dogs. When you have big dogs or should I say dogs that DROOL ALOT ! its easy to clean off. Im forever cleaning slingers ( what mastiff people call the drool from mastiffs ) off the walls and furniture.

Well All my dogs love to chew on Raw Carrots. Sorry I dont know more about Goldens. Congratz on your new baby. :fadein:
