Yay Sasha! As for those remarks I agree with Mei and HF! I've told my aunt and grandma similar things. They had a fit when we got Cinco and again when we got Lizzie. "Know what my parents told em? They maybe just animals to you but to us their kids with 4 legs,a tail,fur and they bark/meow to communicate and they AREN't going anywhere! Either you can just not bother visiting us anymore or you could put up with them for the time your at our house..." They took the latter :D

Abouth the letter, what I'd do is along with ALL letters is send a pic of the injury and maybe one of the dogs with the kids or something just to show that those idiots had nothing to be afriad of. :wink:

Well theres also those times when a shelter picks up a stray thats obviasly a mix but they can only put their finger on only one of the breeds. Like say it's a Springer mix and they only know the springer for sure is it safe to put it as a Springer Spaniel mix but then tell potential adopters "Well we picked him up as a stray and we know he's a mix but the only breed we can really identify in him/her is Springer and their may possibly be a little bit of (put breed here) mixed in there somewhere"?
