1. Ok this thread scares me! :o :o :o I cant believe how incredibly DUMB rabid is! Some of the posts were really funny too bad I missed em but I stayed out of this thread for the most part. Lmao though, its amazing that anyone can be so stupid. I still cant stop laughing at some of these posts though!!! Ok whats up with Rabid actually being able to post here anyway. Considering how many bad replies he/she/it got back you would think he/she/it wouldve been banned by now. Keep this thread going though, its very fun and brightened up my day! :D :D :D
2.
I will not be back (yay, you can celebrate now the most awful member is gone!).
Well since you gave us permission... YAY!!!! Shes GONE!!!!! :drinking: ..well you said we could  Sry but I just had to say that because iM truly VERY happy.
3. WOAH!!! Loki is there anyway you can make that pic any smaller? Its huge!
4.
Now that is cruel!!! You tell us you have 9 pittie puppies and NO pics??? You really can't do that to us. I am pregnant, and very emotional! Do you want me to CRY??? :o
LMAO! ..but gotta agree! NEED PICS URGENTLY!!!!
5. lol, Mei-Mei! Completely understandable that you said that! Believe me, I wanted to say the same thing...
6. Ok, I thought this topic was supposed to be about RnP, not Diane whatever and things about guests. Not trying to make anyone mad by saying that but this whole thing IS about what RnP did and his future on this site. Banning him would seem kind of odd to me. I mean do you really think after all this he would even want to post here with so many people against him? I know I would be too ashamed to even post here, or at any other dog forum that knew, ever again! Either way, ban or no ban, I really dont care because I dont know him and cant really say anything about him other than he was a liar. May sound harsh but honestly thats the only thing I know about him. God bless his dogs and hope they are safe and not producing pups. Ill be praying for them and wish for them to have a happy life. I really hope that they wont be hurt physically or emotionally by their owner or owner's friends. Lord, I hope he doesnt do anything too bad with those dogs! ...anybody ever wonder what REALLY happened to his Rottie? He probably lied about that too.
7. Oh and another thing, those pics of Snow White "2" dont show her left ear but in the one you can just barely see a brown ear! If you notice the coloring starts farther down the ear not right at the base. To me it looks the Snow White, but then again Im only going by the pic you just showed us *shrugs*
8. All I have to say is, you have guts even posting here RnP considering how many people think youre full of shit! Ive tried to stay out of this but I cant help myself anymore! THings dont add up as they didnt before. I tried to be nice to you before RnP but people would be less mad at you if you didnt lie about the whole thing.
9. Dont agree with: -outside dogs (living their entire lives out there) -chaining dogs with heavy chains -devices to tie-out that are not used properly (or that could choke the dog) -unsupervised outside time Agree with: -family pack of dogs -right kind of "chains" sry for just listing but Im honestly too tired to post anything too long.
10. Thats so touching! I didnt get to see that one but I wish I had....
11. Im not an expert but from experience I would say there are a lot of advantages. -less agressive, more social (Dogs that Ive seen that werent neutered were most likely to start a fight with another dog. And I believe its hormones that causes a trigger in other males' minds and just kinda "sets them off") -more calm (seems to me that dogs with out all that testosterone (sp?) have a lot of energy, a little too much! Its not a drastic change but theyre normally more calm) -not as much marking (they wont want to mark your house or when you go on a walk mark everything) -less dominant (Ive noticed they arent as dominant or challenging towards people or other dogs when they are fixed) Now this is all from what Ive seen in different males but results vary among dogs. You might want someone else's opinion or facts because this is just what Ive seen and I have NO evidence whatsoever that what I said actually happens in all males.
12.
Do they need special training and handlers? Yes they do. But not anymore so then oh lets say a Pitbull....
What is that supposed to mean? :-? Maybe Im taking this the wrong way but I find that offensive...
13. Names: Thelma & Louise (not very original but when you have to have names for over 80 dogs, how can you be?) Breed: Akita/Chow Age: around 5 months or so Size: now=around 35lbs, expected=55-85 Color: black w/a little bit of reddish highlights Fur: thick, double-coated and stand-off fur (very, very soft!) More: They both have dark brown eyes but Thelma's left eye is blue because of a scratch on her cornea which the vet checked and its perfectly fine. Of the two I would say Thelma is more affectionate but I can respect Louise because you have to earn her trust. Like Akitas they are definately independent and protective. They dont seem to do well wuith other dogs as far as Ive seen but thats typical of the breed. They are trying to socialize them though. Louise barks sometimes but Ive never heard thelma bark before. Both are very cute I just want to see them go to the right homes, who also have experience with the breed or at least other dogs. Rescued on February 19th (2004) these two fluffy puppies are still looking for a good home. They dont need to go together but if possible it would be wonderful! Their mother is a Chow Chow and their father is an Akita. They are now around 4 months old and we are all concerned about finding a home with experience in these breeds, since both can be hard to handle and need lots of training and socializing. They were adopted once but returned since the owners couldnt handle having two puppies when they were almost never home. While they were in a home they never had an accident inside nor at adoption days have they which I find to be extremely good for only being 4 months! They are both all black, unlike their golden mother, and have the cutest looks! Just see for yourself! Theyre pretty big sized and are expected to grow as large as 80 lbs, but it all depends on which breed is more dominant in these two. Right now the Akita seems to be. Mother and daughter reunite after the pups get returned. Looks like an Akita stance only with a fluffy coat! ...and here is a better picture of their mom. Sorry no pictures of their dad who wasnt rescued for reasons unknown to me... 14. Although I really dont think these dogs or wolves or hybrids or whatever you want to call them should be bred at all, the ones still here shouldnt be banned. I wouldnt call them wild but Im sure wolf tendencies are very dominant in these canines. The more I start writing about this the more I get confused on where I stand because even though Im against banning breeds whatsoever Im also against breeding. So if this "breed" was never created, there wouldnt be such a big problem about hybrids. Then again people will be breeding hybrids anyway, right? People just cant resist exotic animals can they?  I dont think this should be a new breed because there is already so many breeds accepted and in the making. Why cant we just stick to the breeds we have now and work to improve them instead of creating new ones that are supposedly supposed to be healthier. But anyway Im getting off subject. Wild animals shouldnt be keep as pets and even now we have many, many years to go if we are to ever domesticate them, which I dont think people should. Because some bring wild animals into their homes, it gives those creatures a bad name! I wish they would just leave nature alone then there wouldnt be problems with this whole thing. As far as interactions with nature and ourselves, its hard (especially now since people are overpopulating the Earth (grrrr  )) to keep the wild and cities away from each other. So no matter what we are going to have more and more problems with wild animals attacking us to prtect themselves, offspring, or home.
15. Voted. OMG that Maltese in the tea cup reminds me of Wizard of Claws! Grrr!
16. I cant exactly remeber where I read this but these dogs are shown and registered as dogs not wolves. I can see what youre saying when not all people can have these dogs but isnt this the same situation as the pit bull? Not every person can handle a pit, nor can every person be trusted with them either. Does that mean we must ban them, no! I signed the petition because I believe these are dogs and wolf is only so much of their blood. Now, bringing up what kind of people should own them thats completely a different debate. Certain breeds need extensive care and training and should be placed with the right person. I honestly dont think any breed should be banned no matter what. I think all dogs deserve a chance and shouldnt be restricted from a place.
17. Well I was watching Miami Animal Police (dont ask why, Im not sure myself since it makes me so mad sometimes  ) but anyway there was a chi and a rottie together. Im suprized the rottie didnt get pregnant considering neither were fixed. It wouldve been possible though, if she was laying down and he was up. It was so funny though because he was barking his little head off trying to protect her.
18. Sry to hear about that Marion! One of my friends dogs had kennel cough (and I believe still does) and his cough was awful to listen to. You just felt so bad for him whenever he started coughing. He didnt cough often but when he did, man it was for minutes at a time and sounded really bad! He got put on meds and it was still bad but when my friend took him off them, he seemed perfectly fine. It was really strange but he hasnt been coughing since. Pit Retriever, where in Texas are you from?
19. What a beautiful dog! :o :D ....I also thought that the pic looked cropped at first glance, sry. It probably is the lighting...
20. Poor lil doggie... I wish somehow the person (or people) who did this to him get ounished!
21. Some people enjoy showing dogs but they dont want to breed. If I were to ever show a dog I would do it as a hobby but I would never breed any dogs. What if you get a dog thats already altered but you wanted to show it. It could be the best dog out there but couldnt be shown because of it being fixed. Would that honestly be fair? IMO showing shouldnt just be abouting the breeding... Anyone else feel the same?
