Guest Anonymous
My 1 year old dog had a bald spot by her eye. The vet did a scraping, and found she had Demodectic Mange, but that the mites were all dead. They think her immune system is doing it's job and to just wait it out. I find that very difficult as it looks to be getting worse. Today I took her to a holistic dr. who was trained in China as an herbalist. He gave me Burdock Root and Colostrum to give her to help her heal and boost her immune system. Has anyone used herbs on their dog, especially these? Any other tips on treating this? Thanks in advance!
Hobbit
Good quality food, multivitamins that contain fatty acids (Omega 3 & 6) are good to use. Benzole Peroxide shampoo helps to flush the mites out of the hair follicles in an effort to allow the hair to grow back in.
