Ugh, I know all too well about the SBD's. Licky will get upset with me if I stay on the computer for too long.....she will walk into the computer room, pass gas, then leave. :roll:

Well, my all time fav breed is shelties. We had collies growing up, and I would love to have a collie some day. But if I had the space, I would have shelties running all over the house! :wink: But I love just about all breeds. Labs, greyhounds, Mastiffs.....etc. I love 'em all!

I totally forgot about that brush! The slicker works pretty good on Licky and she has short hair. I'll check out the shedding blade, also. :)

You can find the slicker brush at just about any pet store or even grocery store. They have a long handle and the brush part is rectangular. Here is a pic: [img]http://www.petsmart.com/images/product/large/inP017930.jpg[/img] They work great on my sheltie, too.

That is just soooo sweet!!

I use a slicker brush on Licky and it seems to work ok. It has cut back on the hair laying everywhere.

He is just too cute. My husband wasn't a big fan of animals either until he met me. I had my sheltie Honey when we first met. I got Licky after we got engaged. He wasn't real thrilled about it, but he saw how much it meant to me to have her so he dealt with it. Now he loves her to death. I told him I wanted another dog, but he said he wants a kid first. :roll: So, you [u]know[/u] I told him as soon as I found out I was pregnant that I want my puppy now! hehehehe I'm sure that cutie will find a home. If I lived closer, I would love to have him.

Wow, great story, stacer. Glad to hear Henry is doing so good. I also feed my girls yogurt off a spoon. Or if I put yogurt in a bowl for them, I will sit on the floor and hold the bowls up so they can eat. My sheltie is short, so when we take her out of my truck, we will carry her all the way to the front door so she doesn't have to walk that far. (it's maybe only 5 steps from the driveway to the front door...I wouldn't want her to have to use all her energy to walk THAT far. :roll: ) We also got a king sized bed so both girls can sleep in bed with us (even though they both have their own doggy beds on the floor). By the way stacer, I'm so excited your getting your puppy this weekend!!! Can't wait to see pics!!
