Yes, a lot of us think that it's a catahoula rott mix. Just a question Foster, but what makes you think it's a BC mix?

On the show That's my baby on animal planet these people had a pet psychic over after they had kittens and that cat tried to KILL her! It was scratching her and meowing! That psychic gal on AP is a psycho!

Is it just me or does his/her front feet look like back feet!?

You are getting a puppy? When? Why are GSD's back end so much lower? What's the working purpose? Is it just me or does the last one have a little to much slant? (It's almost sitting! :o ) Sorry about all the questions, I don't know much about GS dogs.

We camp at state parks mostly, but we did go up to crater lake where we learned dogs can't even go on hiking trails! They can only stay on paved areas! :x We fish from the shore, and sometimes from our boat. Winnie likes to swim, and scare off fish! Winnie has only been in the boat a few times because she moves around to much and she jumps out! That's a lab for ya.

I think I changed my mind. I think Black GSD is right and it's a Catahoula/cross. Here's a pic that looks a lot like that dog And a website http://www.catahoula.cc/ourdogs.htm And the original dog: Maybe a catahoula/rott cross?

Well, after I went to the agility club (1/5/03) the lady told me to work with Winnie on weaving through my legs. (standing still and walking) Since then Winnie has aced that and we worked on weaving through poles (fence posts with no fence! ). Well Winnie has got that down and we're working on dog dancing! :D I taught Winnie to back so we have a little short routine that we do and we both love it! Now I'm teaching Winnie to bow. That's a little harder considering she a tad bit lazy and just wants to lay down! I put my arm on her belly (towards her bottom) and them took a treat and told her to lay down (right after that I said bow), then put the treat in my hand on the ground and she would stretch and bow! :) Now she's doing better and I rarely have to hold my hand on her and the command I do is bow and then I bow and she does! :D She's still working on it, but has aced it a few times and is doing great! Well, I'll stop blabbing for now.

Sorry no canoeing, but we do occasionally go camping with Winnie. (Fishing and swimming to.)

Also if a rott/AWD did meet up I think it would probably 1. have up ears 2. not such a heavy build 3. have a wild and distrusting personality. Just a thought.

I don't see how it possibly can, because the AWD is endangered! How would a rott meet up with a endagered wild dog in africa??? :o My guess is a rott/Australian shepard cross. I also don't see any dalmatian in that dog.

I don't own one, but here's the goods and bads from www.yourpurebredpuppy.com If you want a dog who: Is medium-sized, extremely furry, and reminds people of a stocky, rounded bear Is serious and dignified, a true introvert Is naturally clean and easy to housebreak Is quiet and mannerly in the home Needs only moderate exercise A Chow Chow may be right for you. If you don't want to deal with: A strong-willed, independent character that cannot be forced to do anything and who may retaliate if pushed too far Lots of health problems, and extreme sensitivities to heat and humidity HEAVY shedding Predatory instincts toward other dogs and cats A complete program of early and thorough socialization to avoid aggression and antisocial tendencies toward other people A Chow Chow may not be right for you.

Actually to be perfectly honest it's bull genitalia. Steers have already had theirs "taken away".

Thank you! :D
