[Rowie-the-Pooh]

I have a Q bout something that happened today.... :-?

Today, me and my cousin where playing in the kitchen, when Rowie(my 1 year and a couple of months Golden Retriever) managed to slip inside, and grab ahold of a Keelex that had some kind of seed on them. They all slipped to the floor, and Rowie managed to get some, I got most of them out of her mouth, but some she managed to swallow :-? Well, Im worried now, is it dangerouse? I dunno what kind of seed and that's what worries me the most! :o


Are any kind of seeds dangerouse? Or are they all dangerouse? Or are they all OK? :-?

It's hard to say......do you have ANY inforamtion on what type of seed it was? Also, how many did Rowie swallow? If they were poisonous, she might have to swallow an awful lot to make her sick. In any case, most seeds aren't poisionous. Just think about the purpose of a seed.....For example, bird eats berry with seeds, berry gets digested, seed has coating that protects it from digestion, out comes the seed to spread the plant round :wink: I'm not saying that there aren't posionous seeds out there, cause there are, just hard to guess without for info.

Ummm..they where white.. :-? That's all I know..I threw the rest in to the rubbish bin, just in case. :wink:

She only swallowed a couple..maybe 3 tops :D PHEW! :D Reading you're post made me feel so relieved! :D She seems ok, no sickness! :D Yay! :D Thanks Science_Doc! :D
