Guest Anonymous
Very informative. I have a list of poisonious plants, but not as extensive as yours. I would add one other extremely dangerous and deadly plant to the list. Angel Trumpet Every part of this plant is poisonous, including the root. Guest Anonymous
I didn't see bamboo on your list. Is it OK? One is within reach of my puppy. I have a couple small bamboo plants (for good luck) She doesn't bother the plants, but I put the Pothos up high above the cabinets.
Guest Anonymous
I can't find Angel Trumpet??!! Interesting.... As far as Bamboo..according to the ASPCA it is a Non-Toxic Plant. It may produce vomiting, depression, or diarrhea but most often does not require treatment. That is any part of the plant.
Guest Anonymous
look under it's botanical name. Not really sure of the spelling, but it's Brugmansia (or something like that, maybe Brugsmansia?). I happen to have one. It is a tropical plant. I keep it out in the front yard during late spring - early fall. This way my dogs do not have access to it. I then bring it in for the winter, but but it stays locked away in a room in our basement to keep my dogs safe. Incidentally, this plant is just as poisonious (if ingested) to people as it is to animals. The plant puts out a huge trumpet flower (maybe 6" long) and is extremely fragrant. It's quite gorgeous! I may end up giving it to my mother, though. Even though I've been extremely careful thus far, I certainly do not want to keep taking chances with my dogs. Guest Anonymous
EVERY PART of this plant is poisonious to both human and animals! It is crazy that anyone would eat this plant unless they had a death wish. Not to mention the irreparable damage it can cause to their organs  :(
Gordonmom
Ther is also the Datura moonflower. Very beautiful, but highly poisonous. And it produces a seed that bird eat and spread in the wild. Try this website for toxic everything: http://home.hawaii.rr.com/wolfepack/Toxic.html Quite long if printed, 17 pages!!!
