Guest Anonymous Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 Get a pix of a flat screen blown up, and tape it to the front of your current tv! no, that would be mean! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 Hey, at least he knows you're THINKING about it!! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 OH I can't tell Joe that...He'd be JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 Oh that is sooo sweet!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 Been there, done that! Joe and I were engaged after 10 months! I'm glad you found someone who is right for you!!!!!!!! :D Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 well that stinks. I gotta be here for another 2 freeking hours........ :x Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 30, 2002 Posted July 30, 2002 Well, called the vet AGAIN, and she's up and moving around...going great!!!!!!!!!!!! Still can't get her till tomorrow. :( I am half tempted to go over lunch to take her home, but I'd rather wait so I can be around to make sure Kenzo doesn't try to play with her toooo much. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 Oh I sure will! I'll be calling soon to check on her, again. Poor Kenzo...didn't eat anything last night other than a little bit of our pork chop supper. He's so unhappy. OH! Question for all of you. Kika always sits/lays next to me on the couch at night when we are watching tv. Since she's been at the Dr's, Kenzo has been laying on my LAP, which is odd for him. He normally lays between my husband and I, on the couch, or on the floor or his pillow. Do you think he's laying on me cuz she's gone??????? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 Yes he does. Poor baby. :( BUT, on a good note, I called again this morning and she's doing GREAT!!!!!!!!   Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 Well, my hubby just called and Kika is HOME! Doing well...only three little stitches! She was very happy to see him. I asked how Kenzo did when he brought her home....he just sniffed her a few times and out the back door they ran. Funny :D I get to see her in THREE HOURS!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :P :P :P :P :P :P Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 just called on hazel and she's through and moving...a little. I will go get her in a couple of hours... :D As to spoiled husbands, well back rubs and good food are all I can afford after the corvett! We have a big tv but it isn't a flat screan, you can't play video games on them! And I think the kids watch it more then anybody else, and that's not all that often durring the summer! And for short engagements my brother in law got engaged just a short 3 months after dating... I even knew someone who was engaged only 3 weeks after dating.... fate, she plays a funny game! Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted July 31, 2002 Posted July 31, 2002 Oh I have never seen anything so pathetic in my life! Poor Hazel... she came walking out from the back with her head hung low and her tail drooping (well what tail there is anyway) and around her neck was one of those stupid elizabethan collars! The look on her face just said it all. All the doggies at home are going to laugh mom, do I have ta? I took it off when we got home and she laid down greatfully and went to sleep. She is not a hyper dog, but this is so *unhyper* as to be alarming! I am sure she will be normal tomarrow, which scares me as they put her on house arrest for at least the next ten days! :o My husband is going to have kittens when he finds out she has to be in the house! (maybe we should have had him fixed too...) He doesn't think it's good for prospective buyers to see a dog in the house. Oh well to him I guess. Gigi, how is Kika? BTW what kind of dog is she? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 Kika, a Shiba Inu, is doing great! Boy was she happy to see me! She's a little sore....getting on and off the couch was work, not to mention the stairs (she has to sleep upstairs with me) but she sure is in good spirits! She has three little pink stitches! I feel wonderful having her back. What kind is Hazel? I'm so glad she's doing well, too. It's such a nerve racking experience, isn't it????? :o Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 Ah, you know I have seen these dogs before, but assumed they were a mix! What a cute dog! where did you find them! They almost look like fuzzy foxes! Hazel looks like a mix herself... people have told me so, but she is an australian shepherd, her coloration is a bit wild with a half black face and the copper and white trim, but I think she'd stand out in a crowd of aussies anywhere! Quote

We have a LOT of people ask what kind they are, and no one seems to know what a Shiba is! I think that's good....but I have seen an increase in their popularity...and an increase in breeders.... They both came from Washington state! Kenzo was bred in Nebraska, and then went to WA....Kika was bred in WA. Do you have pix of Hazel? I love that name! :D Quote
sixjollydogs Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002  It is great that your dog is well...just one suggestion. You mentioned sharing a pork chop dinner with another pet. It is unwise to feed dogs pork as it can cause pancreatitis. Again...great about your fur kid! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 gigi, no I don't have pix yet... have taken many but I hate to have them developed... hopefully soon I will get a digital, but they are so dang expensive... and then there is figureing out how to get it on the site. I can play comp games and surf the net, and do bills :( but as far as that I am an ignoramus! My dad took some pix with his digital... I just have to get them from him, they came out great, so hopfully soon I can get him to bring the camera and the cords to conect and get them from him... Then I will need help in figuring out how to make all the cool stuff I see on this site! :D Quote
