I have a lovely mixed breed, 13 weeks old, half White German Shepherd half Great Pyrennese. His right ear is up, and his left ear is down. Any massage, pinning ect to bring the left up as well?

My sister owns a chow/german shepherd mix named Bear who had the same problem. When he was about 12 weeks, his left ear would flop while the right ear stood up straight. My sister didn't know what to do, so she left it alone. and soon enough, Bear had two ears that stood straight up. I wouldn't worry about it, it'll go up on it's own accord.

IMO puppies sometimes go through periods of ears up, down, and flopped. The 3 Akita pups I had proved this, their ears varied up and down from the time they were 6 weeks until they were about 12 weeks. By 14 weeks their ears were standing up straight on their own with no sign of retreating. You will notice a change in the cartilage - much firmer.
