Guest Anonymous Posted March 7, 2002 Share Posted March 7, 2002 We have an 8 month old terrier that we adopted through our local shelter when she was 3 months old. She had been spayed just a few days before we got her. Periodically for the past couple months she has had a brownish smelly discharge coming from her vaginal area. It seems to be the same as a dog in heat. It's not a daily or continuous occurance, maybe 1 day a week we notice it. Why would this be happening if she had all of her female parts removed? Guest Anonymous Posted March 7, 2002 Share Posted March 7, 2002 I would suggest giving your vet a call on this one - just let the receptionist know that you have a question for the vet and he or she should call you back and be abletto discuss this, from there they will let you know if they would like to see her.
