Guest Anonymous
Does the long haired chihuahua shed? We are looking for a dog for my old mother. She lives along and we are looking for a dog to keep her company, that she can hold, it not yelpy and good with little kids because she has a lot of grandchildren. Do you think this would be a good dog for her?

Do you think this would be a good dog for her? yes they do shed. but not as bd as the smooth coat. chi's are usually good companions for older people and can be put in a crate when there is a lot of excitement going on. they are not a good pets around young children altho there is always exceptions to the rule. they are easily frightened and hurt.
