My groomer has had atleast 40 yrs experiance so when we ask her to shave Dahlila she does it so it's short but not right next to skin u can still tell she has shihtzu in her lol. See the photos below right after cut. :D I'd tell ur other groomer about this experiance. petco isn't a pet store because I go there alot and theres a big cardboard sign by the grooming salon that says something like shelter pets need love 2 please adopt! and has a whole book of local shelters and rescues.

I know! My mom and I took it up with waukesha animal shelter and so i feel a lot better now that they now about this. Cuz Husky mix or not the poor dog shouldn't be treated like that.

I'm ticked right now. I say ticked cuz i don't wanna swear when little kids could read this and mad doesn't even compare to how I feel right now! Neway our neighbors left their dpg outside in the pooring rain when it was thunder and lighting outside! My dad went over and asked them to let checkers(the dog) in out of the rain and the lady said she didn't even know it was pouring when we could hear it hitting against our windows! They finaly let poor checkers in. I told my friends about it today and 1 said that she has seen checkers in her yard (aproximatly 8 big blocks and 1 busy street away) her dad has worked in near our house and saw checkers was out the whole time he was in the neighborhood and he appearently saw noone home. Seems like when I'm home and checkers is out running the neighborhood either noones home at his house cuz they're working or they don't give a crap and sit in the house. My dad has caught him 2 times my friend caught him 1 time. He's outside from the time they leave in the moring around 8ish until they get home at 4 or 5 I haven't actually walked up close enough to see if he has food or water. I've heard if dogs are left outside they become not violent but feel like they have to fend for themselves? I swear they just got him just for the sake of having a dog! i went to school with the oldest kid and he don't give a crap about him. sorry i juss needed to vent.

HS wouldn't take him (though I would have paid the $30 relinquishment fee) and I ended up taking him to the pound. There was no way I could have kept him any longer. They wouldn't take him??? Sounds like the 1 by me(partly rude volunteers and even the HS we got Cinco agrees with that) neways when i was there looking at dogs a family came in to surrender a dog (som1 was sick i think) so they brought the dog to the HS and they wouldn't take it cuz it was a staffy or a pit it's juss like wtf? this is a HS u supposed to take any dog in need of a home un until the right people come along! u did the right thing!

when I 18 I'm gonna volunteer on my own! I have fun just going and interacting with dogs! me and my mom are gonna volunteer together at elmbrook. knowing me i'll forget the other animals and play with dogs and cats and talk to the managers bird lol
