dogsgalore Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 Yesterday the neighbors dog came in the yard when Jesse and Beta were inside. They seen him and went nuts, barking and growling making all kinds of noise! I told them to hush and go lie down so Jesse starts to walk away past the table. Well, the cat was on one of the chairs and she thought she'd teach Jesse a lesson for making all that fuss so she sunk her claws into the poor little guys head! :o Jesse screamed and she let go then he got MAD, he's a true terrier! He went after the cat barking and growling and for a few seconds it sounded like someone was getting murdered! I managed to split them up and get Jesse calmed down, it's a good thing Beta didn't get in on it, fur would've started to fly! The cat was still mad so I cooled her down with a cup of water. I looked at Jesse's head and there were two little claw marks, poor guy. Later on I told Mom we need a spray bottle of water. Spray the dogs when they're acting up, spray the cat when she tried to go for the dogs, spray my little brother when he's being annoying! Quote

eric Posted March 22, 2004 Posted March 22, 2004 I got a similar problem with my idiot neighbour. We think their old dog passed away because we don't see him anymore. Probably got hit by a car since they let the dog roam freely. I don't know how many times he got into our garbage. Its as if they didn't care about him. He was always outside (never tied up), never taken for walks, etc. Why bother having a dog? One day, we realize we haven't seen him in a while so we figure he's passed away. So what do my "don't care about our dog" neighbours do? Get another dog and leave it outside. Anyhow, this new dog is friendly enough dog, but he keeps coming into our yard and come right up to our backdoor. Obviously, Travis, Zeke and Sam go bananas when they see him, and its almost impossible to get them to stop barking until he leaves. Quote
