Guest Anonymous
A couple of days we adopted a greyhound. A day later, we noticed a sore on his back leg above his paw. The sore is about a quarter size, and swollen, but doesn't seem to cause her any pain. We have been treting it with neosporin, 2x a day, and wrapping it. Any ideas of what it could be? Or any other ways of treating it? Jessica
Guest Anonymous
flat, raised, bumpy, red, raw, warm?...look like a wound?...maybe a hot spot?...is he licking at it?...if it doesn't look better, day to day, or begins to look worse at any point, 'suggest a vet check, to be on the safe side.................miami347
Guest Anonymous
need more info-have you talked to your vet? is it discolored? flaking? hot? if it is hotter than the rest of his body it could be infected, and you might need antibiotics and/or cream. call you vet if it doesn't clear up.
