1. that guy will be told, hopefull it will be a friend and not the law. I worked in a grooming shop here in san diego and we had a "Wolf" come in. The guy had certs and a liscense for exotics that we had to have copies of just to groom her. She was red, and absolutely gorgeous. I am no expert but I can tell you that just being near her and touching her was a real treat. If she wasnt all wolf she was the closest I've ever come across. She wasnt lovey, but she would sit next to you just in touching distance and let you rest a hand on her shoulders. She was something else.
 2.

I was definately under the impression that the AmStaff folks balked at the suggestion of changing the breed but I personnally only knew 1 decent but not good AmStaff breeder and knew 2 crappy ones distantly. Whenver I have suggested it here there is a flurry of objections. :niewiem: Oh well.
Well, let me rephrase that, a good deal of AmStaf breeders are trying. There are a few that are still true to the breed, but even more that try to distance themselves from the APBT. I see the dogs betting bigger and slower (in mind AND body :o )
I have a question about this for you, you are much more of an expert than I in the area of genetics. With Pablo he is built to the standard I believe is correct, maybe a little big at 64.4 lbs, but still very athletic and well proportioned. His temperment, while still likely to grow in the dog aggression area, is exactly what my lifestyle requires. I have owned dog- aggressive dogs, from the mild to extreme and prefer the lesser. So do you believe its at all possible to keep conformation, brains, and ability to perform while breeding out dog aggression? I am just curious, the beliefs on this are so varied, from what I have personally experienced I believe it is possible to breed out sever aggression making the dogs more friendly to our political enviroment without losing the things we all love so dearly about the breed. Just curious.
 3.
i can only imagine the health problems these dogs have
My thoughts exactly, as if either breed does'nt have enough troubles, lets mix them together.
 4. You know what's right in your heart, and this is a decision only you can make. All our prayers are with you and Boonie in this difficult time
 5. IMHO, NO do not breed a dog aggressive dog. However, there are levels of aggression to be considered, is she aggressive with dogs she knows? or just strange ones? Can her aggression be managed in a multi dog situation? Or is she extreme? There are ALOT of bull n terriers out there regardless of whether "dog aggression" is normal or not, who do NOT have any aggression at all. This is just my opinion, but my dogs, with the rap that they have, have ZERO dog aggression, or food aggression, or ETC. Now I still follow the old rules of "never trust a bull dog not to fight" , and I dont go to off leash parks just because it's common sense. Still to breed a dog known to be dog aggressive is not the best idea. Better the breed, this is the reason to have a litter!
