1. Criminey thats scary! I am very glad your lady saw what happened.
2. holy cow, thanx for the warning. Poor poor puppy, what a terrible thing.
3. yeah, I suppose that can be confusing. I have always used Staffy, and Staffy Bull for the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
4. Sounds like a real blast. Just remember your there with the dogs, dont let politics drag you down. Enjoy every second of it, its deffinately a worthwhile ting to do with your extra time. Wish I was able to give a little more than I do
5. OMG!!! First of all, a reputable groomer will not shave your dog w/o consent. AND most groomers do a once over with you prior to you leaving and let you know if there may be a need for extra measures. I swear this is unbelievable. In all the days of my grooming I have never heard such crap. Even with matts we would do our damdest to condition and break them up with splitting combs before even thinking of shaving, and then it usually had to do with skin problems or parasites. UGH!!!! I agree whole heartedly with the picture taking idea, get out the ol clicker and take them. This groomer needs a good talking to and you need your cash back at the very least. Poor pupper duppers having to be shaved. tsk tsk on that lady
6. oh my, HUGS. He is in a better place
7.
Does anyone have any ideas on potty training. i'm going coo, and my light gray colored carpet looks like it is polka dotted
Yep, CRATE train her. I have had the best luck with dogs using the crate method. Of course if you cant afford to buy one right now then you should try blocking off a tiled portion of the house with newspaper for the times when you cant be right on top of her. As far as timing goes, evertime she eats or drinks, take her out side to a specific spot you want her to relieve herself, and when she wakes up do the same.
8. HUGE resemblence, I can see where it would irk you. odd
9. hmmm, I went to look and the Ad is gone. I guess your letter worked! :D Out of pure curiosity what was the ad for?
10. that was my thought as I came across it. I am quite sure its been cross-posted on every dog board imagineable, but I figured its worth a re-post for those who havent seen it.
11. thats a good question! All I know is if they are calling for aide, I will pass the word on to as many as I can in hopes these animals recieve the care they deserve.
12. I found this today deleting old files from my puter and it gave me the same tears and chills it did the first time. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART The "Pit Bull" Problem http://www.deviantart.com/view/11454716/
13. I wasnt sure where to post this, so move it if necessary. http://www.10news.com/news/4050736/detail.html?treets=sand&tid=2653888241813&tml=sand_12pm&tmi=sand_12pm_1_02000201052005&ts=H
14. Yours TOTO is a total DOLL by the way. I should have known the breed, we had one who was a regular at the shop adorable little buggers!
15.

nope, toto is a cairn terrier

I think Toto is a terrier, cant remember exactly but I think he/she (movies always get me on that sex thing) either a Border Terrier, or an Australian Terrier. I could be WAAAAY off though. My favs ever are Chance from Homeward Bound and Hooch from Turner and Hooch. I fell in love with both those wet mouth goofballs. lol
No one ever reads my posts. I have a whole thing on Toto being a cairn terrier a couple of posts up.
LOLOL, we must have been posting at the exact same time. I can be a bit blonde sometimes. I realized too late that there was a second page in the thread, and Lo and behold yours was at the top with the breed. OOPS!!! lololol
16.
No Toto is a cairn terrier. And since I happen to have a cairn terrier named Toto he happens to be my favorite at the moment. .
DOH!!! I should have read ALL the posts before replying.

18. Its alot of FUN!!! I crossed over into the grooming side after 6 months or so of prepping and bathing. I ended up doing it out of the house, and had a blast! I still do some occasionally when my schedule allows. GOOD LUCK
19.
I still only consider Pit Bulls to be AmStaffs, APBTs, and StaffyBulls though.... but pit bulls, geez, that could be so many breeds. No wonder the media always says "pit bull attacks!"
Boy did u hit the nail on the head there!
20. I miss understood where you were coming from. I still say no, they would be pit bull "type" dogs, which is such a wide and varying thing I cannot even begin to imagine putting all the breeds who qualify into it. Lets try just for fun, here are a few of the obviuous; Am-Staff Bull Terrier Staffy Bull Pit Bull Cane Corso Dogo Argentino (sp?) Bull Mastiff Am-Bull anyone else?
21. Staffy Bulls I do not believe fall under the PB category as far as cross registration goes, but I could be very wrong. Where is Odnarb when you need her!!!
22. a BIG NO!!!! Uneducated folks. In Ohio where we lived they considered any dog with a good head and a stocky build to be a "pit bull type dog" and they were under the same BSL laws as us. It's sad, but true
