4.
Yep, Lexie is one of Duke's owners. Gooeydog pluralized it to include all of Duke's owners, not just Lexie (the alternative would've been to say "it's your fault," which would be rude and unfair). It may come off as harsh since one of Duke's owners is a member of the forum and a nice person, but it doesn't change the fact that Duke is running loose and causing problems for Shara and Coal. Lexie is at school all day so it is not her fault if her dog greets Shara at the bus stop, but it is her parents' fault.
yeah i know what you mean  and no i didnt think it came off harsh but i just wanted to let Gooey know incase Gooey didnt already..sorry my bad, i didnt realize
Thanks for clearing that up... Holz, I'm not trying to be mean or poke at Lexie, but it IS her and her parents' responsibility to keep their dog at home and out of trouble. No one likes to be told that they might be wrong in doing something (myself included ), but unless they know, they won't even think to change it.
oh i definetly know your not trying to be mean, i just wanted to make sure that you knew incase you didnt..but you did, sorry for assuming  your absolutely right :)
 5. Oh mY Goodness.... *SIGH* i was reading my book that ive had for years but never got the chance to REALLY read it..its called 125 MOST ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT DOGS (and the answers)...here there is a question that asks arent pitties extremely vicious and dangerous dogs? the answer was saying that pitbulls are w/o a doubt the most controversial dog there is at present..it says there are some ppl who believe that theyre dangerous and that the breed should be put away and this is the part that really got to me : it says that the breed also has its "vocal defenders" whom most of them are pit bull owners...it says that they say there is nothing wrong with the breed. (ok i agree to that part..) but THIS, THIS is the part that really bugs me : they said that These pit bull owners, are themselves vicious types who dont understand dogs and only bought a Pit Bull as a kind of "macho" statement. WTF?! :x :o am i the only one who is realllyyyy disapointed with that statement? :x sorry, i dont know if i misinterpretted (sp?:P) it in my head..but to me..that sounds so awful and crude.! but maybe im just not realizing and he meant something else...please correct me if im mistaken and went assuming things  Thanks, Mich
 6. aw i didnt mean to make anyone cry [or almost cry] :P but im glad you liked it  :fadein: :D
 7. :o I havent heard of this show and am certainly glad that i havent..i cant believe they would air something like that
 8. kendalyn and courtnek..thanks! and sry, i seemed more fighting with myself..lol which is not goodlol!  Gooeydog wrote:
Duke_3 wrote: Its.....Not.....Duke's......Fault

Of course not. He's a dog, dogs will wander if left outside, not contained, and not supervised. It IS Duke's owners' fault that he wanders into other peoples' yards and causes trouble (not serious trouble, but at the same time, trouble that he wouldn't be causing if he were kept at home).
um..Duke_3/Lexie...is Dukes owner :-? :-?
 9. aww thats socute!! haha nope Boomer and Holly dont USUALLY gang up on me  except when they REALLY want inside and i mean please,..how can u say no to a face like theirs? lol
 10. uh oh.. :( i feel like a bad owner now..my dogs are outdoor dogs..always have been...around here (Canada), its different than in other places in the world, including other places in Canada..my town..some ppl call it the "hick town" its all farmers and stuff..so my dogs are obviously otutdoor farm dogs..does this mean that i dont do everything i can to love them and treat them like every other dog? no, i do everything like other puppy owners..does this mean that Holz and Boomie are never inside? nope, i love bringing them inside :D but does this mean that the majority of the time my dogs are outside? yeah it does  theyre farm dogs... they have 100 acres to run..and they love it...i know, that they would never like to live in a town/city..i know they love it and couldnt fit in anywhere else...u know? sorry if this is REALLY off topic..but reading this i felt..i duno..the word..? lol sry if it sounds like im fighting with MYSELF (lol  ) i guess i just dont want anyone to get the impression that im a bad dog owner :(
I don't think it's Duke's fault.
i agree :fadein:

 13.
thank you - It's been a few years now (1999) but when I read that poem I thought about all the things I should probably had said, and didnt. So yes, you are right. Never pass up a chance to tell someone that you love them, no matter what... and I'm glad that your mom is still with you.
aw that must have been an awful time for you :( im really sorry.. i love what you said :
Never pass up a chance to tell someone that you love them, no matter what... 15. :o  :o  i hate hearing about all these new breeds...that really ARENT breeds!! oh wow..theyre so good, because they took 2 dogs and mixed them together..Not!!! gosh...do they REALIZE how many dogs are dying in the shelters?! OH so they decide to make some more breeds so ppl buy them instead!!!!  oh this makes me so sad AND mad!! :( when will they learn!! RnP..i agree
 16. thanks guyz  but no, i havent lost my mother (thank to god) but thanks for your concern..when i wrote that poem i was thinking of the people who HAD lost theirs or anyone else close to them...as i and i think many people can say, they have lost a relative or friend..in my case..it was my grandparents..and its a hard time to go through with death..and it happenz everyday  so when i wrote that poem i really felt like i was in that person's shoes..ttytt (to tell you the truth) i cried when i first wrote that poem because there are so many people who are in that position  Courtnek im really sorry, that must be so tough for you..never forget that she is watching over you always and will always love you and be there for you
 17. haha!! yeah i really love Irish Wolfhounds..but they look so innocent (even tho i knoe mine is not!!) when i look into Boomer's eyes i feel sad, guilty and pain..but at the same time i feel loved and precious..Boomer is always there to take care of me no matter what! i feel so sad, sooo mad that those ignorant people who decided that Boomer should beleft on the streets! oh how long had he been waiting..just awaiting for someone to love him..someone like me..who in an instant felt his pain and gave him a home. Why did they do this? These morons! My poor baby must have been so scared!! and i wonder how he feels now? does he remember this? he must feel so rejected! why did they do this? was he too "ugly or shabby" because if i can love him i think anyone can too. were they afraid of having a dog that was soon to be very large? they really shouldnt have bought a dog if they cant commit to the responsabilites..and when Boomer does something bad, which is unfortunatly alot, my parents get so mad and talk about having to find him another home..i know they say that to scare me..and you know what , it really does..it makes me cry..especially when i thnk of how Boomer would feel to be given up on and rejected again..he would feel like a failure..gee this post is making me cry but i love Boomer so much that i would do anything for him!
