My next intended adoption will be a retired racing Greyhound.
OMG, I've been wanting to since forever! But since there are no racing tracks here, I'll just have to wait until I move to the States or wherever. I was actually looking at rescues the other day, such heartwarming faces. :) -
Nope, Drake went bye-bye on Sunday - I've only got the two red monsters now!
Ooh too bad! But your hands will be full from now on anyway... :evilbat: -
We want pics of the puppies.. oooh please say you took your digi with you! Good luuuuck! :D
-
Hate to repost but just thought I'd ask.. is Drake still with you? If so, we'd love pictures of all three of the Dobes together (to see the color contrast, ya know )!

:iloveyou: Why do I love his coloring so much? And those eyes are stunning.. lucky you!

If beauty had a name. :o Congrats!
And whatever happened to the small little pet shops that sold kittens and puppies that weren't purebred and didn't cost a fortune??
My mom bought me a c@t once at a little pet store (that's long been closed down) for about 20$ or so after mine had died. And I remember it was one of the coolest places to go to. But you can't ever find a place like that anymore.
As cool as they are, the animals are still not from a breeder so it still isn't right. And their selling mixed breeds.. no-no.
I'm sorry about the guniea pigs! :( How horrible, now your stuck with five babies.. things like that happen all the time here. I once bought two "female" hamsters only to find out one of the "females" got the other one pregnant. :-? -
I can't believe I missed this! I'm so sorry. Well it seems like Jesse is getting better, and I'll add my prayers and positive thoughts along with the rest. Get well soon Jesse!

Rowie's never "hit" me before, and when she's fed up of grooming she'll just try and walk away.

Rowie (pronounced Row-E) -Scottish Bread Roll.
Like Row your boat or like Row (ryhmes with cow) as in an arguement?
I've always said Row(ie) like the boat.
No, you've been pronouncing it right. Its Row as in row your boat Rowie. -
Okay, from what I know about humans, nails grow faster when your sick. Thats to get rid of uneeded elements or something, I don't know. Anyway, I know that when I'm sick my nails are weak, pale and when I lack calcium they have those little white streaks across them. Maybe the same can be applied for dogs??

First off, I'm so sorry about Pooh Bear. :(
Secondly, I'm by no means a HD expert. I've never even had experience with HD, but heres my take on it. You could keep him on meds, for all of his life which I feel wary about IMO. Or you could do surgery and get it done with.. yes, for 6 weeks he will be cooped up. But being cooped up for 6 weeks means a life without HD pains! Well, that's the way I see it.. in the end its your decision . -
You came to this site for advice did you not? And everyone gave you advice. Unforunately, you chose to ignore it. How do you expect people to react? :-? I only see a few negative comments here, the rest are very helpful. Please understand we are all hardcore dog lovers and will get sensative.

Dunno if you've seen this, but I'd definately want this book if I could get it! How sweet! :D -
I'll try!
Uh uh, wrong thing to say. You mean you WILL! -

Your right, Anne. Its just so sad that the innocent dogs have to suffer because of such ignorance. :(

Crested! We missed you. :D Wow, you've been busy, missy. I LOVED YOUR SITE! Seriously, if I ever want a CC, your the person I'll come to. Great job, Crested, seems like you can do anything you put your mind to!

So me and my mom have been thinking about this for a long time, and we'd love to add a c@t to our household. Rowie's MUCH calmer now, and at three years old is pretty mature. Before we moved, we used to feed the stray cats by our house and so we're pretty experienced as far as c@ts go, but not actually owning one. I mean, I've seen everything, all the life stages of a c@t, a momma giving birth, a tom c@t fighting..etc. But having one in the house I'm guessing is a bit different. We'd love to adopt one from the BSPCA, and since I'm pretty experienced with kittens, would love one!
Anywhoo, any suggestions? I've read my c@t book from cover to cover but advice from people who actually own c@ts would be great.. :D
Btw, its going to be an indoor c@t, but my mom is insisting it has to potty outside. HELLO, Litterbox!
