1.
Hey C and D were not making fun of her...you know what we are like here...anything for a silly giggle...remember we once got 6 pages froma post left blank apart from a ?....and about 60 pages from a dot
Ditto! :D I'd never make fun of anyone, ever.

  2. Sometimes when Rowie chases a bird/lizard it gets my adrenalin running. I always wish I could bring in a rabbit and watch Rowie chase it, without the rabbit getting hurt, of course!

Hunting for sport is cruel. But when its for a good cause, why not? In the prehistoric ages man hunted.. what's the difference now? What if you DON'T want to eat the prepackaged stuff (against your beliefs)? Starve? As long as the animal is killed quickly, painlessly, I see nothing wrong with it.

Heres an intresting thought to dwell over. My 5th grade English teacher didn't believe in Spear Fishing because the fish had no choice (unlike normal fishing where the fish makes the choice to grab onto the bait). What are your thoughts on this?

  3.
I know it may seem "cruel" to leave the dog outside 24/7, but believe it or not, SOME dogs prefer to be outdoors. Siberian huskies especially. Some can be indoors, some can even be great indoors, but some are NOT good indoors. It is not at all uncommon for a husky to live outside 24/7 and like it. Now, if the dog was tied outside to a tree or large metal pole, then I would be upset about it. BUT, if the dog was outside in a seemingly safe enclosure of some sort with shelter, food, water, etc., and there was a good reason for the dog being outdoors (i.e-would kill indoor cat, would eat furniture, just hates being inside in general), then this is called a freak accident. Lightning strikes cannot be predicted, and lightening can still hit when weather outside does not even look that threatening.

Seijun I see where your coming from.. but this dog was padlocked to a tree with a padlock around his neck. If he tried to escape the weather to find appropriate shelter, he couldn't. That's what makes it cruel. Couldn't they have brought him in during the storm at least?

  4. Kitty, sounds like Ceaser might be a bit aggressive? If your actually starting to get scared to even move your dog, maybe you should start on some NILIF (Nothing In Life Is Free)? I know Courtnek and Xavierandrea will be able to fill you in on the details.

  5. Well, Rowie's always pretty happy around people. But whenever we bump into her former owner (he lives around here) she sits rock still as he pets her. Now, he wasn't the best of owners and I'm not saying she probably *feels* hatred towards him or anything, but she probably got a "bad vibe" off him.

Other times, Rowie will run straight into the arms of the teenagers that try stealing her every few months.
