Reakcje ludzi sa rozne, czasami wrecz mozna powiedziec dziwne. Ale w tym wypadku mysle, ze potoczylo sie dobrze. Sunia jest w domu :lol: Miec oko przez jakis czas na sprawe nie zaszkodzi ;)

Moj Dinus [*] rowniez nie chcial jesc, pojawila sie krew. Otrzymal jakis rozowy plyn na zatrzymanie tej krewki. Niestety odszedl. Podejrzenie o parwo albo gardia ( nie wiem czy to sie tak poprawnie pisze). Piesek zalatwial sie wrecz czarna kupka. Moja znajoma ma psa u ktorego lekarz stwierdzil ADHD. Powiedzial, ze nalezy stosowac te same srodki co dla ludzi ... ja sie na tym nie znam i nie wiem czy to prawda :roll: (zdjecie psa mozecie zobaczyc na mojej stronie w Looking for home). Moja Strea miala niezdiagnozowane ADHD. "Wytepilam" to z niej dzieki szkoleniu.

Moja Strea lubi spac w pokrowcu od grilla, ktory sciaga sobie z jednej strony :) Nie moge jej wybic tego wariactwa z glowy :mad: Uwielbia rowniez spac pod mostkiem w ogrodku :mad: pomiedzy pralkami :mad:oraz pomiedzy palmami :mad:

Z cala pewnoscia to kundelek. Na brudce to nie mleczko tylko biala latka ;) (widoczna nawet na zdjeciu). Czlowiek to dla niego caly swiat. Nie odstepuje mnie na krok, jak pozwolic to zalize na smierc :evil_lol: , wiekszosc potrzeb zalatwia w ogrodku. Moj TZ jest nim wrecz zachwycony. Nic nowego w jakiej sprawie? Jezeli chodzi o moja osobe to dzialam na wlasna reke. I want to start a non-profit organization which will be dedicated to help animals (in different ways). But there are cost involve in starting the organization. If I can remember well it was between 600-1000 guilders. I don't know if you want to join me in this so we can start the organization together. My thinking is that if we do it together we can achieve more then everybody doing something on their own. And ofcourse, together we will stand stronger. There are already different 'project' we can do (like we talked about): - Sterilization/Castration - Education (provide the people with information using different medias) - Activities which promote socialization of dogs and for owners to have fun with their dog. These are just a few. But the important thing is to do it officially and together and master one project at the time. I know all of us are having our own ideas and if we put our head together and manage this correctly we can make a difference on the island. It is greatly appreciated !! I wish to apologize for my delay in replying but as you might know I'm in the middle of moving homes, so you can imagine.... Also I wanted to take time to digest it all, have a conversation with my Vet on his intended project so that I could better formulate my thoughts and ideas. It was wonderful to get to know each other personally and to exchange ideas and views on which steps can be taken in order to help our animals and educate the people. Having discussed many topics and issues pertaining to the many problems we are facing on the island, the 2 major topics that stand out are: [B]- DIRE NEED TO STERILISE (BOTH MALE AND FEMALE) thus minimising the number of strays ... - URGENCY IN EDUCATING OUR PARENTS AND YOUNGER GENERATION ON ANIMAL CARE [/B] Like we discussed, there are 2 different positions to be taken, one is to approach the DIERENBESCHERMING and try to get a foot in the door there in order to eventually change their archaic policies and one is to set up a separate foundation that will do basically the same kind of work but on a smaller scale in the beginning. Having listened and talked to several people on both sides of the spectrum, I personally believe that NOW, at THIS point in time, it could be a good thing to try to approach the Dierenbescherming and explain to them that there are 1 or 2 people interested in joining the foundation. The reason for this is that they already have a name (be it good or bad) but especially they have the 'infrastructure' set up and IF we are able to 'infiltrate' we can better attack the needs of the animals. However, if we see that this is [B]not[/B] possible than I suggest we (I) continue what we are doing now for the time being until I am able to have a solution to the problem of a place to put my 'asiel' on. Like I said before, my goal [I][B]is[/B][/I] to set up a foundation, however, I have certain issues to resolve before being able to actually DO IT, and it does not depend entirely on me hence I cannot set a timeframe. So, if we are able to get into the board of the dierenbescherming, I truly believe it is worth a try. This does not take away from Kasia's wish to set up her own foundation, I for my part, will support and help her as much as I can. Secondly, I spoke to Dr. Comenencia, who in cooperation with REDA SOCIAL, will be setting up a project in order to attack animal neglect and cruelty in 8 of the islands poorsest neighbourhoods. This will be done in conjunction with REDA SOCIAL/ VSBO students who will FIRST go into the areas and poll the residents on the issues pertaining to animal care etc. (animal care is part of their curriculum in high school and they will be graded on their enquete) After dissecting the results the Vet and his team (me....us...) will go in, give "first aid" to the (primarily) dogs (deworming, vaccines, check for sarna, educate owners on how to care and feed) and then make appointments for sterilisation !! We will be able to talk to the residents, explain to them the how and why of taking care of their animals. Able to have records in order to check up on the animals on a yearly basis. And most of all limit the amount of puppies born !! Here we join our idea of fundraising, I might suggest that once the project is set up, and by the way it will be funded by REDA, we can use the first batch of funds to BOOST the project and possibly reach a higher number of people and sterilisations that initially projected !!
